- In this video we have just come back from New Brunswick on Air Canada Express flight 8947 from Saint John. I could have continued on to Calgary on an Air Canada flight but up until this point I had taken Air Canada on every flight I thought I'd change it up a little bit and take Westjet back to Calgary, and also up until this point I hadn't flown out of Terminal 3 in Toronto yet lol.
So after a ride on the Link train I arrived at Terminal 3 I checked in dropped off my luggage had lunch at Wendy's then went through security I had about an hour and forty-five minutes to kill before my flight so went exploring and found a beautiful area in the satellite terminal at the west end by gate B2 where you can view the north end of the field, you have a good view of Runways 5/23. After an hour of plane spotting I walked back to my gate, Gate B20 just after the flight arrived from its previous flight.
After departing Toronto we soon were flying in clouds and it was like this for close to an hour. It got bumpy at some points enough for the seat belt sign to get turned back on it was like that till we got over Manitoba then we were passing a bunch of storm clouds over most of the prairies till we got into Calgary. Westjet Connect was available on our flight seeing as though the seats didn't have the seat-back IFE Screens witch I was a little disappointing at but I had my Samsung Tablet with me so I was able to keep myself entertained :).
We arrived In Calgary shortly after 7pm in the evening. When we arrived we had to wait a few minutes on the taxi way cause our gate that we would have been parking at gate A18 still had a flight there that hadn't left yet for Vancouver. After about five minutes of waiting we were finally able to taxi to our gate.

I did trip out to Western Canada twice, first in 1983. Had job at Banff Springs Hotel then. Flew Air Canada. Had Bloody Mary and full in-flight meal. Still
remember Prairies-big checker board. BTW: I remember Airdrie. Was a small village with a grain elevator in 1983.

Wow 32 minutes taxing
There was no seatback entertainment because, WestJet has replaced that to their WestJet connect app. It is just like what would be on the seatback but on your mobile device.
LOL, at the start of the video I tought, whow this is the shortest tripreport I ever saw, but it turned out to be one of the longest. ;)
Do they ask questions only in Toronto from custom officers as well as Calgary?
