Way to go Josh, she ripped again man! You and Michael were crazy consistent and damn close in distance again. That looks like a hoot with all the pulls around that area for a guy to take advantage of, and to take second without breakage and a dedicated puller to only go a few feet past you and beat another dedicated puller is pretty damn impressive......... You should be damn proud of that driver!!!!

I pull with the 2.6/3.0 guys you mentioned. We have tried to change our rules in the past to allow others to pull with us and so we can run with other organizations, but even though we were promised that more trucks would show up and run with us over the years if we catered to thier rules, they still never showed up. So in turn we just ran the rules that fit the guys who run with us on a regular basis.
For sure an impressive pull with your set up. Like the other comment says, it'd be cool to see you build / run a dedicated sled pull truck. Probably untouchable IMO! Thanks again for the great content.

We would love to see you build a full purpose built, dedicated sled pulling truck. There are lots of organizations around Ky and TN to run with and classes that range from stock appearing turbo street trucks, to full on 3.6 turbo cut tire classes.
@@horsetorquesdiesel I run the Limited Street Diesel class with the KOTTPA organization. It's a 2.5 turbo, single cp3, 1 ton driveline and suspension, and no welded rear sub frames. The truck is also my daily driver. It's a good entry level class with around a 800hp average.

If you have found a better way to do the ac lines at the fire wall when doing compounds and triples please focus on that detail in the future. One of these days I will post vids of what I have done, but its nothing compared to you guys. However I am sure you will like my wiring details. You Diesel guys vids really helps me come up with better ways to do things. Thanks.
@@horsetorquesdiesel I must be doing something wrong. The larger line closest to the firewall likes to pop off at the most annoying times. I liked how that one guy used an8 hose for his heater line.
Josh your trucks pretty well rounded. It's great at allot of things but not dedicated to one area of the sport. I would be proud to own that . Josh Have you used transgo newer tfre-pro shift kit? Any opinion on it. I just purchased it as base kit to try and build my first valve body in my first trans build.

Not to correct you or make any waves. But the 2.6 mwe and 3.0 smoothbore trucks aren't running drop box or reverses they are actually still using nv4500s
There are quite a few 3.0 trucks with dropboxes and reversers and a lot of 2.6 with rockwells just depends on the organization and part of the country you are in. Also some places still allow forward facing map grooves so some of those 2.6 trucks are 4.1 lol Same goes for some of the 3.0 classes.
@@bcbloc02 I agree with what is in this comment. But I'm just stating that these 2 trucks are (5 season old) cast piston 5.9s 1200ish hp(engine dyno) in current configuration with nv4500. But they do have full pulling chassis. I'd definitely like to see them run non restrictive charger once but don't think the trans does.
Interesting how "clean" and fast spooling your truck runs compared to some of those full on sled trucks!!!........those other guys sound like your truck did a while back!!

Coulda sworn they said they had SCS boxes on them. Didn’t look at them, definitely not a pull I’ll ever go back to regardless.

Not allowing traction bars in the street class is one of the dumbest rules ever.

Dedicated trucks were ppump engines. They will never be as clean running as a commonrail.
