I must admit that I always understimate the complexity of gripping, there is levels to this stuff man.
It makes me wanna train Judo, a shame there is no school close to me.
Love that detail on gripping underneath. I always ended up committing myself to either the upper body or lower body and never had a good response to double/single legs once I got my "judo grips". I'm super excited to try this out. One thing that I think a lot of BJJ people would appreciate is an instructional on all the little steps to get to those Judo turn throws in BJJ. Frankly, I'd love to learn how to attempt Uchi Mata and/or Seoi Nage without getting my back taken haha
Thanks for the awesome content. I certainly appreciate it as a bjj player. You and Jimmy Pedro have been instrumental to my standup game.
Shoutout to Eugene Seki Professional Uke haha.
Love the new text overlay!
This is awesome bro. I love the BJJ stuff from you it's really interesting to see a high level judoka give his take and teach stuff for ground fighting. Keep it up man I love your channel 🙏🏼
If y’all didn’t get the memo, buy his stuff! Now!!
Great content as always!! Do you have a video for beating or attacking an opponent that has the cross grip in BJJ? I did a NAGA tournament yesterday and I was stuck fighting the cross grip without success. I also could not figure out how to throw my opponent while he had a cross grip.
damn im recent in the world of martial arts and i started to do judo and jiu jitsu for self defense and because they complements well, this is gonna help me a lot, thanks!

Do you recommend the high collar grip behind neck even if shorter than opponents?
Please do more content like this for bjj, good stuff
I do like the judo arm grip for the throws
Awesome. Just love the fundamentals
Thank you. Cant wait to try this out
Excellent advice!!
Judo is #1
I prefer no gi 😅
Trust me everyone prefer no gi at least all the white belts 😂😂
