I’d love to see videos focused more on talking about driving and driving techniques (if that’s something you guys “study” and practice actively) rather than cars and parts too. The touge battles are always legendary though, this a new golden age of footage that will always be revisited for years to come I’m sure!
You guys have some nice tracks out that way. One thing about suspension adjustments though, different tracks like different set ups. Start taking notes during/after test runs. Use existing set ups on an identical chassis as a baseline. Don’t forget to factor in weight comparison if the baseline vehicle has it listed anywhere.
Not going to lie I love the videos quite a lot. I just don’t understand why you guys have so many cars. When you guys normally only make UA-cam videos of only 2 outta all the cars you guys have. Not hating because I absolutely love and can’t wait for the next video to come out. Just doesn’t make since as to why you have all these cars and only use 2 cars outta 7 cars I think. For example might as well sell the NSX and use that money to either build your other cars. If that makes since. Hopefully you don’t take my comment in a negative way. Just confused. Keep up the great work and keep moving forward
bro its like im watching the IRL man version of the 2 women with the Sil80 in Initial D its dope af... i also copped a sticker and is there is a chance you make like XXL on the shirt cus i fit an XL but im kinda tall ? if not all good ill just copped the XL. keep up the sick content boiz👍
The integra looks fine, it needs Drivers mod, Andrew needs more time behind the wheel and on a track, he looks either uncomfortable in mid corner, or not confident. A lot of downshifts too, when he could just keep the momentum up instead and keep it in 3rd (like you recommend) but who knows maybe it’s just the footage
first time driving this touge and the 360 camera provides a really clear view of the road ahead. however, in real life it is much tighter and harder to see which corners are tight. it's hard to tell in the video, but we are going really fast already reaching the top of third in the Integra. We could of course go even faster but the chances of over speeding into a corner greatly increases, plus we aren't trying to die doing this haha
Eh, poly bushings are a PITA. They make things feel direct and racy, but they can be surprisingly rough and noisy, especially with just a little bit of wear. Of course it depends on how hardcore or streetable you want your car to be. If I was doing poly bushings, I'd be stripping out the interior around the same time. For a car that's going to see any street use at all, it's probably best to go with performance rubber bushings. It'll feel sharper than OE, but won't make you hate your car.
You didn't take the best part of the road, next time right from the stop sign or head up 35 to bear creak mountain road, if you want something super technical. Hope to see you at skid pad at some point.
this isn't a race track. i'm not going to brake dive into a corner lol. I'm being cautious which is what we should all do when driving on these types of roads.
kind of boring looking road if you ask me. There's too little real corners. Might be thanks to the camera perspective though, so correct me if I'm wrong
A lot of that is UA-cam. Their compression algorithm can only deal with a certain amount of motion between frames before it runs out of bitrate and starts getting messy. Tom Scott has a video about how it works. It really struggles with things like snow, confetti, and high-speed POV. The difference in quality between my own GoPro uploads and how the actual render looks is shocking and depressing. Professional videographers get around this mostly with shot composition; a narrower FOV looks slower to the viewer, but for the same reason is easier for the system to compress. They also do over-shoulder or helmet POV so the outer portions of the frame, where the fast motion is, gets cropped out by the interior of the car. The perspective in this video is super awesome, but it's also super bitrate intensive. It was even worse when Best Motoring did this same setup on the back of a wildly bucking Hellcat Challenger on their touge course. Short of mounting the camera to an airplane propeller blade, that was about the worst case scenario for compression and it showed.

definitely trying to work on going more in depth with these videos thanks for watching 😌
This is probably the best looking 360 car cam that I’ve seen, hardly any lens distortion, looks like it’s just out of a video game, great stuff guys
Grab a stiff rear sway bar it will help the understeer and give you more confidence through turns 👌
YES! i love these TOUGE videos! and on a friday night too! Perfect!
I love these videos, I just wish that you would swap places after a couple practice runs to see how close behind the opponent would be
you guys should add a speedometer cam
awesome job btw.
Awesome vid, love seeing new fresh integra content which is rare now adays
dope ass location! such a vibe
Drive an s2000 on the PCH with the top down cracking VTEC. It’s chefs kiss

we are selling some, but most of the time, we buy cars because we like them and not for the content

8:25 how do you downshift like that? im a new driver trying to learn a thing or two :) is it rev matching?
correct
yep, clutch in and tap the gas pedal as you downshift. it'll take practice to get it smooth but a few months of practice will do it
fire.
Edit: how this dude have Spike Spiegel hair?

get a brake controller for the integra, thicker sway bars and poly bushings

A few of those corners you guys could’ve just stayed on the gas instead of feathering the brakes. No race is worth dying over tho.

The english dub of Initial D... 😅

never say last run
Instead of improving the integra I would say trying to compress or get better/sharper video quality, it gets very grainy during the touge
