I think you produce some of the best blacksmithing videos on UA-cam. You get more entertaining with each one while presenting clear and detailed projects. Thanks
Don't make something unless it is both made necessary and useful; but if it is both necessary and useful, don't hesitate to make it beautiful. Great job! Congrats
@KiloSierraAlpha I think it would be funny since it's been done so much that someone does the whole build up and then when they do the chop nothing happens and their hand is all bandaged up. Just a thought.
Mr Blacksmith, I enjoy your videos very much and especially around December. I particularly loved the very short snippet or few seconds of video where you zoomed in on the forge fire from outside with the frost on the window and red of the siding. It was picturesque and lovely. I admire your ability to craft steel into what you see and I enjoy it. I have been following for 2 years now and am delighted every time to see your video and uploads. The videos you post at this time of year are festive and heart warming for me. The colors, snow, the red of the siding(I love that look) and the ever green and also the warm glow of fire and steel. Soft white lights and the clink of the hammer falling on steel. Superb. Many well wishes and always looking forward to your videos. Happy Holidays
These are very elegant candlesticks that I enjoyed watching you make; I love the humor in this video. I have a couple dozen wrought iron outdoor candlesticks of varying heights that are very similar - except mine include glass chimneys with iron tabs to secure the glass; they have spikes instead of feet. The outdoor candlesticks are magical for evening garden parties.
AHHHH! That "backstage" shot that blended into the actual shot perfectly! That was awesome! Also, thanks for showing the oiling of the power hammer. It's always nice to see little stuff like that for the reminders of what all goes into it that isn't directly blacksmithing. Wonderful video as always, friend!
Those would make beautiful Christmas gifts. Everything you create can be handed down to be enjoyed by generations still to come. If we don’t see you by Christmas, please have a very Merry Christmas from your friend in Canada😀
@@torbjornahman I also noticed after starting to forge out the tennon you went back to the cutting dies to clean up the shoulder. Great idea. Ive used a monkey tool in the past. Those were some pretty clean forged shoulders you had there. Looked like very little grindin to do.
Great work again. “This Old Tony” tricks are perfect. I love it. Please keep those tricks for your next videos. I think the small power hammer needs to well maintenance. Please make a maintenance video for small hammer. You already renewed the big power hammer. The small one also get appreciate well maintenance.
Simple elegance in design, form and function, a perfect trifecta Torbjorn. The tapers were inspiring with simple cups and heavy bases...Most Beautiful. But I've got to say your storytelling through your videography is in my top 5 now...Ice palace crystals, funny faces, serene interludes and an off the chart finish...and loved that you showed setup at the anvil...Bravo! Thank you for making my day so far! BTW that center punch of yours is another example of design form and function! Happy Holiday Season to you and yours.
You are a Master, I love to watch your technique. I was second guessing each step. Was wrong each time. Watching you make each part and then the final assembling and presentation was beautiful.
All I can say is Merry Christmas to you and your family, and that you must have an amazing atmosphere in your home, your video's just make me wanna live like that, good on ya mate well done and thanks for bringing some of the old traditional things back.
Those look amazing, Dispite the title ,I thought those stems would have made the Roman javelin look like a child's toy ,very nice work ,I enjoy watching good craftsmanship
After watching this and most of your other videos, I'm interested to see you do something very geometric. Although it's obvious how much you love nature and let it inspire you!
Dear Torbjörn, Just to say thank you very much for the fast, clear, fullfilling answers as I expected. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and all your family. ff 51

Great job! Congrats
:) Thanks
Who needs a chop-saw if you have a chop-hand.
You and ThisOldTony should do a collaboration. World's first CNC power hammer?
Ha ha, that would have been something...
DO IT!
Hej Torbjörn, skitsnygga stakar! Kan du dela med dig av måtten på materialet? :)@@torbjornahman
I see you follow @ThisOldTony school of stock cutting ;)
@KiloSierraAlpha I think it would be funny since it's been done so much that someone does the whole build up and then when they do the chop nothing happens and their hand is all bandaged up. Just a thought.
Now you need a hardware kitty for your fastener needs. LOL
Awesome blacksmithing, awesome editing - just perfect, Torbjörn!
Thank you!
You have the trifecta now blacksmithing, woodworking, and comedy.
Ha ha!
Your karate-skills are just as amazing as your blacksmithing-skills are!!! Great video, greetings from Austria
I don't think I would have ever thought of making smaller feet with bigger fuzz pads. Genius!
Many will emulate the ways of other UA-camrs, but few or none will emulate the combination of skill and artistry evident in Torbjörn’s work.
Your videos are so therapeutic!
Awesome Entertainment! TOT and you with some other YT-Guys are the majority of metal-working on youtube! Perfect! I love it
Thank you!

You're great designer, Torbjörn. Minimalism rocks.
Nice moves and beautiful candle sticks.
Outstanding workmanship, great design, very pleasing proportions, excellent attention to detail. Worthy of museum.
Those tapers are beautifully done. Even with a power hammer, getting them that even is a real sign of skill.
Beautiful work, Smith Ahman! I truly envy your skill. I'll bet This Old Tony does, too!
Your creations are always aesthetically pleasing!

:) Thanks. We will see...
I'm very taken with your fireplace, that's quite elegant.
LOL, great video! Loved the comedy. Great tip to mark the shoulder with the angle grinder before cutting on the guillotine tool.
Thank you! Yes, it's so easy to slip, now you can feel when the dies are in the right place.

Thank you very much PJ. It warms... The center punch is actually not a work of mine, it's made by Jakob Faram.
So glad to see this video, your videos are always a welcome and relaxing distraction.
Thank you!

Just beautiful!
Most illuminating
Simple, elegant, another set of masterpieces! 😀
Proving once again who's the master.
I think that longer candles would suit these candlesticks better though.
Yet another graduate of this old tony school of cutting
Beautiful and elegant design.
Thanks so much for sharing with us! I love that song at the end too!
Teach me karate! And then blacksmith skills. Very nice my friend.
Thanks! :)
