Hi Jeremy, what a nice picture with the rainbow ... really well done and the wave length as well .. NICE... I am just back from frustrating no wind try... tide going out and wind so low that I could not get on foil and not even get back to my entrance point. .had to climb out over rocks .. cut my foot .. so... not so nice .. but your wave lit me up and also got my first 360 downwind this week .. all together not a bad week. Have a nice weekend
Aww man bummer about your sesh. Totally been there. There will be better days. But awesome about the dw 360!!! I gotta get back on my game!! Stoked for you. I wanna see a vid!!
My theory on the ‘pea soup’ feel of the water - is it perhaps because of less salinity due to the rain..? I know when I’ve tried fresh water river foiling before it felt so slow compared to more boyant salt water. Nice sesh and great to see you enjoying life 🤙
That’s really interesting! That could totally be true. We def got a lot of rain. There was a ton of stuff in the water as well… could have been a double whammy. But I’m gonna make note of that when we have some similar conditions. Thanks for the theory bud, totally interesting and totally possible! I wish you an awesome rest of your week!
I used to spend summers in your neck of the woods when I was in high school. Lot of great memories of Nuhant!! And I love your vlog!! Been in Honolulu since 87…surfing, SUPing, SUP-DW, and now wing foiling and trying to DW on my Supfoil. Come out to visit us sometime!!
no way! that's awesome. Hawaii sounds delicious. I'll get there some day. maybe when I get picked up by RedBull :P thanks bud, I wish you an awesome weekend!!
sweet! do you know Roy that makes the Kaohi leashes? he's down in that area. I thought I could paddle until I got the dw board... now I'm kinda getting better to the extent I'm consistently paddling straight and making small adjustments without thinking about it too much. I needed a bunch of flatwater sessions to dial that in. I hope the lagoon was productive! I wish you an awesome day Henry!
Not much wind around our neck of the woods out here on the left coast but there are signs indicating changes may be coming. It’s time for rain and we haven’t been getting enough of that either here in the interior valley. About 45% of normal so far. I bought a new foil and wing, both big and am so looking forward to using both in coming weeks. For now I’ll have to live vicariously through you. Keep up the good work my friend.
Awww well I hope things liven up soon! We’ve had a cold spell and I haven’t been out in more than a week. Maybe next week. I just got my 680 and 780 foils so I’m dying to try them!! I hope you get some wind and rain! I wish you an awesome weekend bud!$
Great session Jeremy! Failed wave followed with total redemption on your long ride. No local wind for some time now, 2+ months. But we’re also having a winter heat wave, hopefully it’ll bring some wind so we can get some too.
Another awesome set of waves to ride ,what a great film my man you went through 8 batteries how do you change them, not on the water ?? glad to see you getting plenty of use out of the new board, hey man have you tried the paddle up hell on earth yet ? weather looks nice great to see some sunshine even tho its still freezing thanks for sharing bro have an awesome week
haha maybe I didn't go through 8 batteries. but I had 3 cameras I tried to get the double rainbow and all 3 died, I had to put a fresh one in to finish the vid. and when I arrived I realized I didn't have fully charged batteries so I had to switch them all before the sesh too. so when I came home I had 7 to charge up some degree. yeah that was a good sesh that could have gone either way. Nahant had 8ft waves that day, I just couldn't get there. so I'm happy we got that 3ft or so of swell were we were but it was kinda sheltered from the swell angle in the area. I hope all is well over there! it's been cold here since that sesh so I haven't been out in over a week! talk soon :)
I have it, I’ll probably keep it unless a local wants to buy it. It’s great, but I have 3 new HA foils I’ll be diving into for a while so it’ll def take a back seat.
It's good. I need to spend more time on it, especially in conditions I wouldn't normally take it out in. paddling on the flat has been frustrating but a few paddle wave sessions were good (better than my old foil SUP). I def prefer my other board with straps for winging but I know the dw board is gonna teach me a lot and improve my balance game. no regrets at all.
@@windaddict oh man I wish they provided footstrap options on my board. I miss them. I can charge a lot harder with them and I’m just solid rider altogether.
@@OCEANBOUND1 Really? On my normal board I just have them for jumping. But I only tried once without. On the downwind board in super light winds it just seems like an annoyance to deal with straps when getting up. Maybe with more wind I would find them useful on it.
I actually did!! which is a shame, I prefer to rock out on the water with my wing-buds. my two friends went out, they both barely got on foil cause the wind was a little light and the water just seemed thick that day. so one ended their sesh after like 20 min, the other ended up waaay downwind at a different beach and had to walk back. the dw board, the 880 and the 4.5m were a GREAT combo. I'm stoked on that combo, and will be adding a 1080 as soon as I can afford it. I will talk about it more in the next video or two.
What a wave and a rainbow, nature is brill👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
It was amazing! Thanks bud I wish you an awesome day!!

Looks good. I’m still struggling with a paddle and 5-20 second sup paddling. Going to a calm lagoon again today. Lots of expert help here in San Diego

Love your vids, hi from Ontario, Canada...
hi Ontario friend :) thanks so much! I wish you an awesome day!
Every session counts. There were some nice looking swells out there. Great job and props to you for winging in the cold. Yewww!!
Weeeeee! Thanks Roy!! To was a fun day. The foil keeps impressing me. Like my new sitckahh?? Can’t wait to try the wing leash.
Saw that. 😃🤙 @@OCEANBOUND1

Dude! Two months?!?!? That’s cray. Total bummer. I hope things turn around quick. Sending windy vibes yr way. I wish you an awesome weekend!
Looked like a sweet session on the new board :D
Yeah I’m liking the board more and more. That foil pairs really well with it.

Só what’s up with the chopped 925 ? You ain’t used it no more ?

Hah thanks Rob! 🙏 I wish you an awesome weekend my friend!
Nice one! How are you liking your downwind board?

@@OCEANBOUND1 Interesting! I have front footstraps on my downwind board for winging. But I'm thinking of taking them off

what sixe y use for dw board?
Sup bud! I have a 107L 7’2” long, 20.25 wide. I’m 77kg. I would prolly go the next size up if I could do it again just for paddling on flat water.
You pretty much had the place to yourself :)
