I've owned my 2011 ZDX for 2 years now and I love it to death, paid $27k for it with 26k miles on the Odo. I'm not sure why everyone cites the rear seats as a problem, I was worried about them when I was researching the car - as a 6'2" guy I wanted to make sure I could comfortably fit as a driver and passenger, and in that regard I find no faults with the ZDX; I can fit in any seat comfortably, and the ingress and egress of the car doors isn't a problem either. I will say the styling isn't for everyone - Acura took a chance on giving this car a unique look and attitude, I'm of the mind that this car was tailor made for anyone who is tired of all the bland carbon-copy econoboxes out there and wanted a car with some panache and performance.
@@creativeslink It's fared really well - currently at 68k miles and no major issues whatsoever. It's handled everything I've thrown at it, and it shrugs off the Denver winters no problem.
The vehicle IS futuristic. At six foot five I have no problems anywhere in the vehicle. Dreamed of owning one and now a reality it just takes a bit of getting used to on negotiating outdated narrow roads as it is a wide buggy. which is what I love most about it.
What about the back seat? I am very concerned about that because I would love to purchase this and take a spin with my friends. They vary in height. I am 6'5ft as well.
@@worldzviralz you can sit in the backseat it’s just better for you to stay upfront in the driver seat.put it all the way down and all the way back and you’ll be all right. Trust me.. besides, what else can you expect if you want to drive a Japanese vehicle . There are guys our size that drive tiny Italian sports cars so you know this one ain’t no Thang.

@baudilus Just because it shares a similar "design style" to the crosstour it isn't at all the same. When you get in it and drive it it feels like a 50k car.
what is the difference between the tech and advance? which versions are the best? is the ZDX better than the 1st gen Lexus RX 300? Can it handle any type of off road?
It's a sports sedan on an SUV chassis. A sporty car with more clearance. I would put it head to head with my Infiniti G37x. All wheel drive, handling, acceleration, what's not to like.
So go buy a Range Rover Sport... Heck!, those things are now even cheaper than the ZDX in the used market... But, ever wondered why?....lol Buy one and watch how the repair bills and engine failures could make you run mad... You could find a 2010 Range Rover Sports now for just $12k, even with less than 100k miles on it... But, there's a reason it's so much saturated in the market, yet people so much avoid buying them, except just for show off... IMO : it's not worth it, regardless. And if you really gotta show off then you'd be better served buying a used G Wagon instead, it doesn't ride as good as a Range Rover, and the crazy Germans didn't update the interior until 2013,... *BUT* , it'll cost you alot less headaches in the long run, also, it's alot more status symbolic (for show offs) and again has much better resale value, and for good reasons... You could get a 2005 model, or even much earlier and yet perfectly fit it with the exterior of a 2017 model... Its unique design really aged that well. The point is, it's not a Honda Crosstour, it rides alot better, sounds better with more power, more aggressive styling and all. The Acura ZDX is a car fullfiling its own niche, a 4 door coup with an SUV sitting position and ground clearance... and it's a better car to by now, than the 2010 range rover sport ever was.

This car failed. But the current rise of coupé crossovers from BMW, Mercedes, and Porsche is proof that Acura was on the right path.
I heard they were bringing it back

zdx (2010) can certainly handle some good off-roading, but once again all cars vary and if yours is not properly maintained well, your problem.
The design is awesome...but dont know why it has less reputation
The new ZDX makes the old ZDX appealing all of a sudden…

Thanks and yes the music is garage band
Good job and good review.

why would there be a six foot tall guy in the backseat of a sports crossover, sedan, coupe, suv car?overall great review.
Maybe giving someone a ride?
roman, are you romanian?

loooooove it!
What! there going to stop making these model, why because its to futuristic lol?
Acura should bring it back instead of the electric ZDX
this is a serious compititor to bmw x6 now.
best of
The Honda accord cross tour is better
Interesting... So ;-
How?...
Why?...
Where?...
What drugs do you take?
At any price, ugly is still ugly.
It's basically a Honda Crosstour for almost the price of a Range Rover Sport.

Not comparable. It's based off the mdx.
