Am I wrong aout this? The "Flat Tilt" option seems like such an obviously good idea. I'm surprised I haven't seen it as an option in other adjustable beds I've been researching. Maybe it seems too simple? (Not "just" for acid reflux, but just a better distribution of body weight.) And I'm also wondering why you don't hype it more. Seems like a game changer to me.
I don’t know if you know but the stomach empties on the right side so it’s important for side sleepers to sleep on their L. Side. So the stomach contents won’t empty so easily , you should not sleep on a fill stomach. The problem I have is the top will be elevated and I slide down in my sleep and still get reflux, this condition is called GERD. The bed you showed would be better if it bent at the knees and the lower legs could be elevated to minimized to prevent ankle and legs swelling in heart patients.
I saw this base in "Dormez Vous" in Southshore of Montreal, Quebec, Canada 5 years ago, decided to save up and get one, by the time I went back to buy, unfortunately they did not exist in the store anymore and can't get my hands on one in Montreal. No one is familiar with this base or even heard of it. I know you are too far, would you happen to know where I can buy one and have professionals who know how to install them in Montreal. Thank you
@sdmattressmakers - do you have an update on the availability of a bed with this feature (what is this feature called, btw?!) as the Glideaway is discontinued?
Say that I have a queen size bed with but im overweight will the thickness of the bed obstruct out breathing when using adjustable base? If so what size thickness of mattress do you recommend?
I noticed on this video that the mattress is adding pressure by pushing forward to the foot retainer bar! Could be the mattress is sliding due to the flat tilt incline??? If it is, I'm concerned, as I couldn't push the mattress back to align the base because of my disability.
Oh, I am glad you said something as I am blind, I would have never known hat. That is why I have not got one yet, their all inaccessible, no braille on the remotes or accessible paperwork. I think I called to ask about all of them, accessibility did not cross anyone's mind of course. Accept to say, it works with AI speakers but, if it is not working with them, not accessible. Besides does not help someone who is deaf-blind like my friends.
But how do you not slide off the end of the bed? I toss and turn all night. I wake up smashed at the bend of my adjustable bed every night for years now.
Ive noticed with American people they really good at presenting products ( sharks tank ) as opposed to dragons den this is probably due to the education system over there
This is a glideaway base motion 600! Unfortunately, they recently no longer offer this base. There is a base coming out from Rize that will have these features and more!
@@sdmattressmakers I'd love to get some more information on the Rize base that you mentioned that'll be coming out - Has it been released by now? (If not, any idea when it might be, and what it might cost?) Since the bed shown in this video is no longer available, I'd love to see a follow-up video about this.
Inmade one of these at home, and it solved my sleep apnea issue of 15 years, and truly changed my life.
Wish I'd seen this before shelling out $3k for my mattress and adjustable base set
what is the model for a flat tilt like in your video.

I'm usually skeptical about you tube stuff but believe me these guys are spot on about the acid problems trust me
What about Lift beds and mattresses for Back sleeper that suffer from Back a neck plus dizzspells?

A great idea for a base adjustable. What is the cost for a twin XL base like that?
Wouldn’t you feel like you’re sliding off the bed with the bed lifted straight up?

Wish you guys were in TOronto
Me too! Hopefully one of these days we'll open one up there! :)
So $1800 just for the Twin XL, I'll just make my own but thanks for the idea!!

Thank you ima try building a platform to raise my bed .... out of 2x4s

I dunno the recliner is the most comfortable position in the living room to pass out
I’d love this for my bedbound wife but 2k is over our budget
Good video
waking up to middle back pain now with a natural pit on my spring mattress. this is scary

Nope. I would not buy that base. I prefer the mattress bending. I have slept in the hospital too many times, and I like them!
So a couple of bricks under the legs of the bed would do the same thing at a much lower cost. Good video.

2 grand for a full size? Really?
Which base is this what brand, all this and you dont say where to get this base n who you reccomend. Smh. Seriously wasted my time.
