It's funny that this opening will begin as the most hated by the SNK community, and currently it is one of the most loved, seen and appreciated in the entire franchise. By the way great Pellek, you sing wonderful.
It's probably because it sounds kinda different from the others but as more episodes go by, fans had realized that it actually matches the tone of the story. The explosions, haunting choir voices, chants, it gives off a apocalyptic vibe that matches the apocalyptic final season.

Except many people don’t see the potentially hidden message behind that title. “Attack on Titan” = “Attack on Paradis” could be a extra subtext for the title.
Though the official title translates to Attack Titan, for reasons well known by now.
Pellek and Jonathan Young are the two I know would do this opening justice and so far Pellek proved me right.
Jonathan I hope makes a cover of this.
