Yeah, I still shot raw files which I end up archiving but lately due to time constraints I’ve been experimenting with jpgs. I’m currently experimenting with some different techniques using the curves module and as soon as I dial that in a bit more I’ll make a video on that as well. Thanks and if you try it let me know how it works out for you.
awesome ! interesting to see how other people work with the fuji cameras 👍 and this is real helpful because i only recently just bought the original x100 and have been trying to figure out the best way to shoot it, gunna give this workflow a try 📸😁
Hey Max! sorry for the delayed response. Yeah the original x100 is one of my favorite cameras. I have a video coming out in the next two weeks where I do an entire session using this workflow for portraits in black and white primarily using the original x100. I hope it works for you as well. take care and thanks for commenting.
Good stuff! Do you feel like Astia looks different on different cameras? I feel like Astia looks different on my xf10 vs xpro1 and xt1. Xpro1 and xt1 are close, but xf10 definitely looks different.
Yeah, actually. I do find that Astia changes quite a bit from camera to camera. I can still get nice looks out of them but now I’m actually shooting everything in Fuji pro standard and then I add a preset afterwards. I’m putting the video together where I show that process but it’s probably going to take me a few weeks to finish it.
Nice to see you back sir.
Very interesting. I'll need to watch again when I'm not havin a beer on a Friday night. Nice one
Thanks John. I appreciate that. And yeah, thanks for watching even at all. Enjoy the beer! As well as your Friday night!
cool workflow! i might try it. I have so many unedited raws that just sit in my drive. makes me wonder why I always use it.
