Thank you for your reaction. Dimash is a master of blending with other artists. He can change his vibrato to match others and he never tries to outshine his partner. He sings 4 other songs in this concert. All are worth a watch.

On May 9th, Aida and Lara will both be special guest of Hauser, at his concert in London, Royal Albert Hall.
Lara is currently completing her eastern europe tour and will kick off a canada tour in June.

Hello, thank you for this, it is beautiful. Please see his latest duet with Placido Domingo, from The Pearl Fishers, that is really gorgeous. It is at the Virtuosos competition for talented children. Placido suggested it when he met Dimash in Budapest. Placido was an inspiration to Dimash when he was just 5. (And Dimash was not 100%, he was recovering from a cough).
Also, the Virtuosos competition with very talented children, including up to a 22yr old, is wonderful. Please try to watch it. It was shown in 2 parts last year. They were both judges there with several other people, singers and music promotors.
Another great duet is with Sundet, Tu Vas Me Detruire, Dimash was quite young; and Brucia la Terra, with Marat Aytimov, one if his teachers. This was at a Dimash concert in Moscow. Sorry it don't have the exact date.

Dimash has admired Lara Fabian's music. They have only song this once together. The other clips are a blending of Dimash singing a Lara song and he sings in the same key. She and Dimash composed a song for Dimash to sing as a solo.
Igor and Lara wrote "Your Love" for Dimash indeed.
Lara was very sick just a few days before. Severe Vertigo with inner ear infection. She couldn’t even stand up for long so canceled a few of her tour shows.
This one, she had to be healthy for. Lots of medication got her to performance level.
You really must react to Dimash recently singing with Placido Domingo, The Pearl Fisher's Duet. You can really clearly see how Dimash has grown as an operatic singer! Greetings from Cape Town South Africa

What was worth mentioning about this video is Dimash made sure he didn't overwhelm the ladies which we know he easily could have. And it should be noted Lara had been ill and almost had to miss the event but she got enough strength back to perform. The event was Igor's Birthday Party (Igor was at the piano) and Dimash and Lara have worked with Igor on many projects. And, lastly, what about Aida's finishing touch to the video? Just when we thought this was so beautiful she hits us with that ending which brought everyone out of their seats! A fabulous video!!

Let me give you some info on this incredible trio and event:
• Igor Krutoy, the pianist, is there as an overall lead because the event is built for him: this is his birthday event that he organized with all his favorite artists, the ones that he is used to collaborate with and the songs he has composed. Igor is considered as the godfather of the russian music scene, a bigger equivalent for Russia of David Foster for North America.
• This is not the first time that Lara sings this song (composed by Igor) in trio but the third time: she performed in the original version with Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Alina Yaroyava then again later with Dmitriy and Sumi Jo, before this new trio with Dimash and Aida. The song was composed from day one with her voice in mind. She has been collaborating with Igor for more than 10 years, they co-created many songs together and he has told from her that she is “the best singer and the best songwriter he has ever worked with”
• This also explains why the song does not expose more of Dimash’s upper register: it was written for the late Dmitri who was a pure baryton.
• Lara was very very sick that day, with fever and strong medication but she is skilled enough to have made it unnoticeable
• Also, like Dimash, and even if the song was composed that way with her in mind, Lara does not sing in her real « comfort zone »: she is, as Aida, a lyrical soprano but here she plays the role in the trio of a mezzo-soprano and takes the median register. It requires a lot of voice control to not interfere with Aida’s high note and does not allow her to really shine. She gives room to Aida to do it instead and Aida uses this magnificently.
• It was the first time Dimash met his idol Lara (he is a fan since he is a child and he covered several of her songs such as Adagio, Love of Tired Swans, Mademoiselle Hyde, Know, … / she influenced him a lot on the way he performs and builds his songs) : look how quickly he turned to her, despite he has not finished his duo section with Aida 😂 And how he looks at her and hold her after it …
• Lara is the most comfortable in italian because it is her first native language even before french: her mother is italian and while born in Belgium she spent her first 7 years in sicilia before returning there. She also is married to a sicilian man
• Look how dimash slightly adapted his vibrato to better match Aida or Lara
• Also there is a debate about the final note, held for such a long time, with the conductor looking at Igor and Igor smiling: Did they make a prank to the singers by extending this last note? Or did the singers instead played with them? I personnally think this is more option 1 😀
• I forgot to add that Lara has been classically trained for more than 10 years at Brussels Royal Conservatory and still continues to receive voice lessons on a daily basis. And she has sung many times opera pieces or with opera singers.
• Final note to say that Lara Fabian wrote the lyrics of the song Your Love for Dimash
