oh goodness!!! do i miss those dispatch sounds :(((.....fyi, in 2021 the city upgraded the frequencies so there is no scanner anywhere that can monitor dispatches....even media now depends on amateur newshounds with iphones and smartphones to capture breaking news.
@Barcrrt these trucks are city&county all fir trucks in Hawaii that are yellow are c&c the fed fire are red trucks well at least on Oahu where this was shot :)
Josh W there is actually alot of depts. in mass that do yellow...orleans mass...oxford mass...and cool story about norfolk engine 1 i got to ride in her at a parade in walpole!
Thats cool. Did u ride her this years past parade? And btw I think it Weston that showed up with a blue tower ladder this year. Its nice to see different paint schemes once in a while haha. Walpole runs the classic red paint but our newest ambulance has a black hood for some reason.

Yeah same, freakin miss it. Too bad we wont be hearing it for a very very long time. Also, are you in the radioreference forums?
So awesome!
Here in Hawaii it's rare to see a red rig, only governmental rigs are red
state crash is lime greenish......fed fire is red i think and of course, yellow is HFD.
Fantastic video!
Great catch!
The yellow rigs are really starting to grow on me. Are all departments state run? Or do they have City, County, or fire districts? Beautiful rigs!
state is crash crew for Dan inouye Airport...formerly Hnl International Apt.....Honolulu is city Fire. Fed Fire is military.....

Yellow? Engine, ladder response. Lite Force, Honolulu style.
Is that kahili fire 🔥 station 🚉
nope.....Pawa'a.....makaloa kaheka, next to Don Quixote Kaheka and Pan Am bldg....
The only yellow fire trucks I know of in MA belong to the Massport fire department(airport fire department). All cities and towns use red rigs in MA
That's interesting. Even a more interesting side note, Norfolk MA runs a black rig that says "Dare to be different" on it

One rig has a headlight out
This is arguable. Everything looks fine once the rig started rolling.
As of a few months ago, HFD replaced the older engine (quantum) with a new KME
Sure taking long
Muss ma mit Pressluft ankommen :D
Unconcious person?
