  • It has been an emotional couple of days for Harrison Ford. In Cannes for the release of his latest, and by all accounts last, Indiana Jones film, the actor has been moved on several occasions as he waves goodbye to the character he has played since 1981.

Harrison Ford is such an incredibly funny person. He's talked in the past about how uncomfortable he has often felt in the limelight, but the way he uses deadpan humor to break tension for both himself and others has led to some of my favorite interview moments over the years.

There was some years he was said to be one of the hardest to interview and it showed since he barely would talk or answer questions 😅 These days he have seemed much more joyfull as he did younger. He is an alcoholic and atleast apparently smokes a lot of weed (who knows what else problems if have been) so it could be that those some About 2005-2013 years might have been really tought on him. He doesn't really hide his alcoholism anymore and just that is propably a big relief. When he was younger you really couldn't ever have been open about such things as a celebrity so it makes it tough even later on I would only guess.

"I'm real happy with age." It's so rare to hear someone say that, especially someone in the television and movie industry. Harrison Ford has brought inspiration and entertainment to people for many years, but in real life, he is quite humble, and that makes him as much a hero in real life as he has ever portrayed in television and movies.

I'm almost 47 now and Harrison Ford has been there for me since I was 7 when I saw Star Wars for the first time. And when I saw Raiders of the Lost Ark probably at about the same time, it hooked me so much I became extremely interested and invested in history and archaeology and started to read and learn more and more... this is the power of an actor in a powerful film: to make the young audience dream, learn and work with ignited inspiration. I will always be grateful to Mr. Ford for his influence over me.
