@The New Paulo Coelho they want us distracted
The media is the devil. In politics. In morale. In all the shit they do, primary motivation is money, not making positive change.
Too ahead of his time media needed to silence him and make him crazy
Yeah, you have to be either a genius or a fool to marry a woman like Kim Kardashian.

Yes. I one million percent am the exact same way as him. No lie.
@@NukemNash I think this is why he has managed to survive the scene as long as he has despite the press cyclically trying to destroy his image...his fans think and experience life similarly to Kanye. So when he talks about how to be popular...and says it’s about being yourself and showing the world your view through your art-being authentic...and then if you’re being real, people feel that and relate to you, and that’s how you be popular, because it’s about that universal way of experiencing life that we share, and Mr. West is able to, in almost every aspect, please us with his unhidden perspective and growth. This man made such an incredible documentary without saying a word
Beautiful documentary start to finish. Kanye is such an inspiration, I wanna be like him. No, I wanna be like me, and have his level of impact
Kanye is someone I will always look up to. Speaks his mind, makes the music he wants to make, inspires people, and realized that by doing him he was able to create a source of inspiration to millions of people
Kanye, thank you. And thank you for this documentary. This is incredible
A fan of Kanye is a fan of themselves.
This is so true. I got into Kanye's music only 2 months ago and he's already had so much impact on me. He's the only artist I look up to, and the only famous person I've ever resonated with on a personal level.
@@hse_va I’m about a 6 month fan so I’m also a new fan and I totally agree. His music is a daily thing. It’s not just music, it’s almost a lifestyle. The variety he has is like unlike any artist I’ve listened to. I feel you man and I completely agree
@@coastercraziness Yeah people always say "He ain't the same Kanye he was when he released that album" and I'm like no shit he has to change, that's why he's still relevant.

This documentary needs to be on Netflix.
Good job man
This documentary is the prime example of show don't tell by letting preexisting interviews and videos and his music tell the journey of Kanye's career.
And what also stood out to me is that the passing of his mother really did change how Kanye presented himself and why he makes music. Beforehand he was humble and wanted to be the best because he was given the chance to do so, and with 808s and beyond he just does it to be the best he can be and for the enjoyment of others.
Homie I can't even imagine how much time and effort you put into this shit just cuz you like it, thank's

I hate playing the comparison game but I think Kanye is just as influential and probably far more so than Tupac. Don't get me wrong Tupac is a GOAT but Kanye has blown the roof off of music and art and fashion. A true artist and entertainer and visionary. I think the word genius is thrown around a lot regarding Kanye and I think it's a title he truly deserves. So much inspiration, motivation, innovation, and drive.

45:27 the song that got me into kanye. I remember being a sophomore in high school with a surface level taste in music hearing this come on Pandora in my Drawing class. It was as if I had never heard real music before. My friend was playing music on the stereo and I asked who this was, I'd never heard his type of sound ... Went home and listened to No Church in the Wild. I was hooked. Spent the rest of high school obsessed with Ye, attributing my entire personality change and confidence gain to him. He really made me more confident in myself. I carry that confidence to this day. Kanye really changed my life. The greatest artist of our generation. Influencing millions. Always going against the grain. Every album was an evolution, an adaptation, challenging his own thoughts and those around the world. Upset that I didn't get to see him live.

Dang where are all your views man, this had to have taken forever - Props, beautiful work
Kanye made me fall in love with music (808 & heartbreak had a big impact on my life). I was a freshman in college in a small poor country in Africa, away from my family with no friends, and obviously got bullied and all. But I held on strong. I got my engineering degree, and he became one of my 3 iconic inspirations alongside Einstein and Batman. He is the definition of change and Overcoming our fears. I am now in the US, getting my second degree and obviously a master's in Aero. Mr. West really changes people, and I consider this album to be the best of his work personally. He has earned the GOAT status no matter what. He's just ahead of everyone else. He has worked on about 20 albums and they are insane. He did not only lift himself but also changed Jay-Z, Pusha, Big Sean, Cudi, Wayne, Alicia, Teyana, Rihanna, Keri, T-Pain, Drake, Lamar, Weeknd, Travis, Ariana, and even Swift. He's not only a rapper, he's a Producer, Writer, Musician, Designer, Politician, Fashion, Actor, Philanthropist, Director, Historian, and above all a decent Human Being. I consider him to be above Disney, Mozart, Musk, and Jobs. He's way up there with Gandhi, Einstein, and Tesla. He's our person of the 21st century. I said what I said, just because am black doesn't mean it's less true. I really consider him to be the best there is. An absolute definition of Change.10 years later Kids See Ghosts is also changing people. He has transformed not only music/art but also generations of people. Thank you Kanye.

Best documentary that I’ve soon on Kanye to date. You have a real talent for telling stories. Keep it up
I don’t understand how you couldn’t think this man is a genius
I do think he is a genius overall but he's said alot of dumb ish recently
What's so genius about anything he's done? The genre of music he does already existed before him what has he introduced that wasn't already there?
He may not be 100% innovative but the ability to create anything that people can relate to and move to requires some level of genius or unique ability imo. He's better than most if not all rappers from his generation.
@@bkman0978
How does that equate to genius? Why is he considered a genius for making and performing music that others can relate to when that is literally every celebrity or public figure with a large following? My question is in no way meant to dispute why others live him, but the reasons behind the label "genius" are so so subjective & general & actually really common for celebrities it's just really confusing. I'm aware btw of his mensa affiliations but still not seeing how that equates to musical/entertainment genius. Why doesn't chief keef get called a genius? He was pretty much the first public figure to introduce & popularize trap music & that genre has been thriving ever since...
Again if you think he's great, if he's changed your life, if he inspires you, if you admire how he has multiple passions & isn't afraid to crossover into multiple industries such as politics, religion, architecture, fashion etc great, but still don't see where the genius part fits in. I don't even see Michael Jackson being called a genius this regularly & he was most probably the most innovative, unique & most memorable performer & celebrity of all time.
He is a genius to me because, first of all, I have no idea how to to make music. So when I consider someone pretty good, maybe it's a little easier for me call him a genius than others. I think your qualifications are clearly more in depth than mine. You're coming from a music history perspective. I'm not that passionate about music history at this point in my life. I'm still young. I dont even know MJ's work really. I was born after "Thriller" 😂🤣. I'm coming from the perspective of he's one of my favorite artists. Not many artists these days make me get excited for their next project. He's not making genius stuff right now. Unfortunately, he seems to have personal problems. Hopefully, he gets them sorted out so he can begin being a genius again, at least to me.
This is a masterpiece bro, thank you so much. Kanye has meant so much to me since I was 14 and that was 2004.
