I swear if you get some Batiste (or any dry shampoo that has a powdery finish) it helps so much! Your dry shampoo looked fancy, which I’m sure is way better for real hair, but the cheap stuff likes cheap stuff lol
Omg I'm looking it up asap thank you!!!
up until this day i never thought i could de-shine a wig.....
THANK you! I need to give these methods a try !!
for the curly wig you should've damped it first! and brushing from the bottom up can keep the curls apart so they don't tangle over and over again while you're moving strands ^-^
I've never had luck with the fabric softener method, ever. If anything the residual smell was so strong that I just couldn't really wear it. My hate for Baby Powder is also real strong, so going in with a mix of cheap and I mean CHEAP dry shampoo and light coats of hair spray in between gives the best of both worlds until the fibers themselves start to dull out from use.
I think that the babypowder method worked the best, so that's what I'm gonna go with! This video was quite helpful, thank you!
The red wig does look a little less shiny on camera but I wonder if it might benefit from the detergent wash instead? Curly wigs are such a nightmare for me :( The curls just constantly tangle more and more and then I get discouraged to comb through haha. But after watching this I'm tempted to try some of the de shine methods on some of the cheaper wigs I own!
make it damp and brush from the bottom to the top with a wide tooth comb
I have a wig coming in soon so this video was PERFECTLY timed- thank you so much!! 💕
Wow that multi color wig is sooo cute
[IMO] All of the methods just made them shine different but not naturally xD the dry shampoo seemed to work the best tho, the roots look a lot more natural then the others when using dry shampoo.
I thought the fabric softener did the best, but mostly by softening the wig so it didn’t look as stiff/shiny. (Compare a piece of pleather that is stiff to satin that is soft)
my shigaraki wig from amazon is thanking you
I think the dry shampoo is more effective looking at the video
Thank you this was really helpful
Thank you
Wow, that's awesome! Can't wait to try that. 😃😃😃😃😃😄😄😄😄😄😉😉😉😉😉♡♡♡♡♡☆☆☆☆☆
