When I do “hair” I larks head the yarn to a dowel, brush it out (or twist out like you did), put a stripe of watered down glue below the knot on both sides. When dry cut it off of the dowel and bam..hair track! Hot glue or whatever glue it down in long strips cut to size. To hide the glue stripe on the last one, glue it backwards and flip the hair back over itself and tack down or hide the seams with individual strands. For me it just makes it less daunting…I love the spider though it came out awesome!!! 🕷️🕸️🧡
