Superb vlog and really great shots Eddie. What an amazing place Padley is, any time of year. I usually park at Grindleford and go to the gorge at that end, not sure if I’ve been that far up. Time to go back me thinks.
Lovely images Eddie. Fog makes so much of a difference at Padley to help cut through the chaos. I’ve only ever had fog there once and that was over Christmas and was really pleased with the images I captured that day.
Well to be honest I’ve never photographed trees as I couldn’t see any great compositions when I was amongst them. However your vlog and images have inspired me to go back to Padley gorge, a place I haven’t visited in over thirty years, and see what I can create.
It's a great place to flex those creative muscles, the trees, the rocks and the brook offer lots of scenes to contemplate. I hope you have a productive visit!
G'day Eddie...It looks like a giant hand has thrown a massive amount of rocks around Padley Gorge. I do enjoy your walks and your commentary through your favorite parts of the Peake District. You said you were using the DJ action 5 camera. How do you get the vision when you walk away from the camera. Is your wifey taking these shots or have you set up the pocket 3 camera on a tripod. Anyway well done.

Fantastic woodland and atmosphere. 👍🙂
It really is!
What a morning good job
Always a difficult location I find you get unlucky more often then you luck at this place. That is mostly apart from autumn

Thanks Anthony. It really is a place where ‘point and click’ works!

Thanks Danny, well worth doing the full loop. Start at the top where I park so you can visit the café half way!
