I'm from Indiana, my name is Clayton. I really appreciate the video as I'm starting out and I have definitely made some mistakes when it comes to scotch brite sanding on panels going too hard with maroon pad to get rid of shiny spots, but only making more work for myself and the shop painter by putting in harsh scratches and adding low spots / even burning through to body work and past body work on panels. I thank you so much sir. -Clayton Ledford

I used this stuff based on your video and a couple others to final clean and scuff my truck before painting. The whole truck was sanded with 600 grit but this was an extra measure to make sure all areas were cleaned thoroughly and scuffed for good adhesion. I was having some problems with fish eyes when I painted the roof of the truck and I didn't want to have that problem again. This stuff really cleans the panels nice in combination with the scuff pad. I had zero fish eyes. I also wiped the truck down with wax and grease remover, but I had also done that on the roof, the scuff stuff treatment is what made the difference. In the future, I would probably scuff the the whole truck or the parts I'm working on with scuff stuff even prior to starting any sanding to make sure all the crap is off the paint.

Was gonna sand more of the orange peel off my truck with my new orbital sander it is a metallic then use a gray scuff pad and apply like this video then apply clear one spot I missed a little spot was gonna put a little base on it then apply clear. I have a new turbine sprayer coming soon 5 stage Fuji Q5 platinum it will help my painting be better but is 800 grit on metallics good enough to use on orange peel with a orbital palm sander I gave 1500 grit also and it will fit on my new 5 inch orbital sander the new one can actually change backing plates too couldn't do it on my old 6 inch one.

not really, I mean why would you want to use it, for a good run removal use a hard block with sand paper at the right grit
