Well, the cards that weren't hit by Uria were both chainable, so my guess is they were trying to save time from explaining chains, although the Bubble Illusion instance has really affected the result

Kagemaru also discards cemetery bomb pretty late in the duel to bring back Uria. Could’ve just played it face down to activate it and win.
