In my country we drink this everyday for those who can afford or on special occasions. Pregnant and breastfeeding moms drink it too for milk and bone/joint health. (We boil cow bones or goat with any other meat thats left over. Then shake it in a jar till its milky. Or blend. Its super good👍🏿
What type of beef bones are you using there? I found some knuckles but would like to use something else. This will be my first time trying to make some beef broth.
I’ve done this before, but used a bouquet garni, depending on the size a head of garlic and lots of other spices and herbs during the last couple of hours. I still got the collagen that once set was jiggly.
I would love to know the answer to this as well. The videos I have watched show that they cook the broth, strain it into a bowl and wait for the layer of fat so they can remove it before putting into containers. My first batch of broth is finished tonight so I’m literally just waiting for the fat layer to produce itself and then I will put it into containers for the freezer.
@brown.eyedgirl4 I did a batch recently, and once the broth cooled, the layer of fat ( tallow) formed, and I was able to scrape that off, and the broth was very gelatinous and awesome! I saved the tallow and freezed it. I used it as a butter or oil replacement and it's just fine! Where I live in Canada 1lb of butter is $9! Hope that helps.
Whole foods are always better than supplements. Plus glutamine is just ONE of the many amino acids that bone broth produces. Why have one when you can have many?

Made some yesterday and was ready today just had my first cup of bone broth now 🍻 cheers
Isn’t the smell and flavour too strong when you simmer it overnight? Do you dilute it with water or something before drinking?
Is it normal for it to be oily? Can I reuse the oil once I cool it down

Before you drink it do you warm it up or drink it cold?
It congeals cold so you may want to warm it up……unless you fancy a savory jello 😏
Link to your website please? Thank you 😊💓!
The rest that you strained do you eat or throw out?
Do you let it sit in the fridge after it's finished to then take the tallow off or do you drunk the fat with the broth itself

Does the parchment paper not burn at 450 degrees?
Don't place it too high in the oven and it should be fine. Or lower the heat a little :)

How much do you drink a day? Why haven't you answered anyone's questions?
450 degrees celcius or fahrenheit?
It'll be Fahrenheit. Americans don't use Celsius. Plus the cooker only goes up to 250 degrees Celsius, lol! So its Fahrenheit
