- Using the Hay Days event to their full advantage, Arctic Cat announced their new "big bore" engine. This is the full presentation, with all of the extra fluff edited out. I will post other videos that are part of the original full presentation. But, what I wanted to do was give everyone the ability to see the engine presentation by itself. Yes, that's Roger Skime.
It’s good for the future of the sport!!
Missed the legend Roger Skime damit!!!!!! Wish we weren’t watching the drag finals 🤦♂️🤦♂️.
We didn’t get to see any of the races this year, unfortunately.
@@ponycarfan they were clean and fast plus impressive. Stock class was dominated for another year with all cats. It was worth the 2100km trip from Canada 🇨🇦.
I switched to Polaris 850 a few years ago, I'm coming back to AC as soon as they have a few years of break in. Cool seeing Roger in one of your pictures!
I’d never seen Roger in person, but this year it seemed like every time I turned around I was standing next to him, pretty amazing.
sold 👍👍🎯
That was my reaction, too! 😎
Make a hell of a go kart engine….
Yeah! Awesome idea!
Unlike the Achates Power OP 2 stroke this is a real engine.
Hmmmmmm.
TOO LITTLE ...TOO LATE
I think the new engine says there are still good people at Arctic Cat, they know what people want, and they care. Is it too little, too late or both? Only time will tell. I don't think so, but I'm an optimist.
Too little too late? Why? If you were loyal, it wouldn’t matter.
@@Eighty8Fitter I don't want to speak for others, but I think there's a feeling that Cat has lost market share because the competition has introduced larger-displacement and higher-powered engines before Cat did. I think some people truly wanted Cat to have the best, and others never liked Cat and just want something to complain about. That's my opinion, and I hope someone who actually feels that way will chime in to explain.
@@ponycarfan yeah I’m sure the consensus is mostly about the engines. But in all honesty most people can’t handle a high horsepower engine properly anyways…when in reality they would be just fine with a 600 or 800. Have I thought about switching at one point? Yes, but it all came back to my morals as a person to stay true to a brand that my grandpa believed in, so I will too.
I disagree, It's never too little, and It's never too late. We need an old fashioned winter, and everything will take care of itself.
