Yo estrené un Ferguson TEF-20 en el año1956 y trabajé con él durante 24 años : Para mí lo considero una verdadera joya en todas sus aplicaciones, muy manejable y seguro.¡Cuánto lo recuerdo!
There is a easy start button on the injector pump. Also a decompression handle. Diesel system wants to be clean to get fuel right. Tiny pin hole in the reserve tank tap. Same for banjo bolts on filters. There’s also 2 more square filters inside the injector pump no one knows about. Access is from back. If this was parked up a long time. I’d highly recommend pulling out the oval mesh screen which is on the pick tube for oil pump. 13mm bolts and it slides out like drawer.
I had a To 20 1950 A great tractor. I always had carburetor problems. There isn’t much to them. It idles funny- is the governor working? Best luck Frank
It is a great feeling when they start isn't it. My TED20 is on UA-cam starting after 20 years, was a great day. Well done.
I’ve watched a couple of times. Bloody lovely old machines 👌

The way he was starting it. He would have needed 3 hands to use the de-com lever.
I wrote a song to my 1950 ferguson ; "I Love You Elle McFerguson"
Make sure the maximum fuel button, or cold start button, is pressed in on the fuel pump before trying to start it
What causes a TEF to surge when started like in the video? Mine does that also until its warmed up
Not a single clue to be honest. It’s always done that on first start up as far as I can remember 👌🏻
What's the plan for this tractor, restoration or a good soak with a diesel and oil mix.?
Get it useable again and preserve it in its working clothes.
Tractor bik raha tha ho to bataiye kitne ka hai

Are you guys planning to restore the tractor ? :p
At some point it will get fixed and useable again but it will remain in its working clothes 👌🏻
