Thanks for watching!
I bought this album in 87 and to this day, it's still one of my all time favorites!
The opening on track two did iced earth use that for Dracula so similar
I still got it on LP and CD since the 80s also. This one is a gem.
cheers, kindred spirit!
Never matched ever again!!!
The 80's have never ever been surpassed again, not by originality, not by uniqueness, not by anything.
Back then, when a new album was released, you could almost hear at the sound of guitars, drums, vocals which band it was.
Today, their screaming is all the same, they (digitally) sound all the same.
When todays youth claims by Heavy Metal from the 80's you know there's something wrong with modern metal.
Very true....BUT...listen to Vektor - 'Terminal Redux' and tell me they don't have their own thrashy sound....
This album is a forgotten gem that deserves more attention. Truly awesome
yes is you the god

that's an understatement
thank you jesus
Absolutely!!
80's metal. What a time.
for a true metal fan ,any old school thrash metal recording is a guarantee of great enjoyable music these bands had something special that still is unknown to me. metal that passes the test of time!
Infernäl Mäjesty is perfect example of thew word 'underrated'. These guys kick so much ass.
This band, along with Slayer and Possessed changed my life.
Bill Andrew's.
Yes and I will add Sodom to the mix
Me too along with Sacrifice, Sadus, Pestilence, Sepultura, VoiVod, Wheremacht, Exumer and I could go on and on

This is my number one favorite album since 1987.... i'm about to be 49. no one has topped it for me
50 and still not topped!
October Rust is probably my favorite album of all time, personally
@@joeyuzwa891 Now that you mention it. They did more for me and got me through so many tough times in life than any band. I felt more sorrow when Peter died than for some people I knew in real life. Still missed, RIP Green Man.
South of heaven SLAYER
Coma of soul KREATOR
the first time i listen to this band was going home from work and finding this record on the bus, best bus ride home ever
rick broughton A Thrasher somewhere out there had a heart attack cause he left this gem behind on the bus
You brought a fucking record player on the bus, wtf
Omg I lost this record on a bus. Give it back.
I remember you shot me and took it. You didn't find it!
Fantastic album. Can't listen to it enough lately.
Every time I listen to this I jump to Anthology of Death first, then go back and listen from the beginning. One of the best songs ever written.

Holy shit, just discovered this amazing album today, and I love it! Instantly goes up there with Demolition Hammer - Epidemic of Violence, Num Skull - Ritually Abused, Morbid Saint - Spectrum of Death, and Devastation - Idolatry as a top 5 brutal thrash album in my ranks!
Also Cancer, Gammacide, the fellow Canadians Overthrow, and many others
I knew of this album 20 plus years now , but gave it attention only this year, yeap, it's stands up the with one of the best ever, as sacrifices forward to termination, and devastation idolatry also I discovered recently
cool albums, but brutality not always comes from underground necessarily, pleasure to kill is still more brutal than all of these albums combined
Yep spot on PsychedelicCheeseburgers. I'd also add Artillery - Terror Squad, Blood Feast - Kill For Pleasure, Razor - Violent Restitution, along with Vio-Lence - Eternal Nightmare too that very good little list
This album will only get better over time. True classic. It's too brilliant for its own good.
'Marching, defiant, the Legions bear witness, to stand against evil means you stand alone!' .....Always loved that lyric!
this is the definition of a cult classic
Something Orother Nice profile picture.
Riffing authentic and structure sick! Stage dive material
Definitely. Killer record, loved this since the early 90s. Somewhere between Hell Awaits and the first Nocturnus LP. Lost in the fog of history.
An UNDERATTED album! Ahead of it's time!
It was at the right time, but I didn't like it then for some reason. I was all Slayer.
I bought this album in 1988 on Banzai - but first I seen the video on the 'Power Hour' on Much Music and I was POSSESSED! 'None Shall Defy' was an instant classic and it was Canadian!!! This album is indestructible, impeccable, and unbeatable! Every song stands out on it's own as a titanic beast! This was likely the best Metal album of '88, bar none! Hail Infernal Majesty - Hails from Canada - None Shall Fucking Defy!!! 666
Hail Canadian IRON and STEEL
This is the most underrated Canadian thrash metal album. Pure genius.
One of the ....If not the most bad ass thrash bands from the back in the day!! Perfect blend of Metallica/ Slayer with a twist!!!!Fuking awesome album...One of the true greats you can listen to over and over again....If your a true metal fan you can bust this one out and say........BAM
!! It doesnt get better than this!!!!!!!!
The Best Thrash Metal Album is all history. Infernal Majesty Rules!! 28 years kicking asses!!
It's crazy how Chris Bailey's voice sounds so similar to Stace Mclarren! It's no wonder that it was rumored that he did practice sessions with Infernal Majesty after he left Razor!
progressive gen x'er channel Both Canadian thrash legends!🤘🏻🇨🇦
lol
Probably quite a late answer, but w/e.
It's not a rumor, Sheepdog himself has confirmed it. They had a few practice sessions with him, but they never fired Chris Bailey, which is an information that Sheepdog didn't know, he only found out because Chris once came into their practice space while they were practicing with Sheepdog. Both were furious and Sheepdog stopped practicing with them.
That's how I remember the story, read it in an interview quite a few years ago.
Thrash/death classic with a classy HRR reissue that sounds incredible, i also have the original. Do not miss out on this classic slice of extreme metal from the late 80's
One of Thrash metals greatest creation of all time. Next to the hell awaits album by slayer.

Absolute Masterpiece! The best Thrash Metal album from 1987. 🤘🤘🤘
This album never gets old....has stood up very well...They need to reissue it on vinyl..
finally reissued last year....along with their other albums ☺
Check High roller records man
Their reissues are great !
I bought the album brand new in 1992 on vinyl, still have it as well as 2 cds I bought new in the mid 90s

I have not herd this album in very long time. Killer stuff..
This was the first extreme metal album I bought in life (in 2000). A great gem!
Que increíble, estas bandas jamas van a morir... Seguimos escuchando thrash metal.. Hasta el final.
this is more than thrash metal, this is the most powerful expression of music very well executed , some passages of Blessed are the Sick in Night of the Living Death are the begginig of true old school Death Metal, in the same vein of Morbid Saint, cheers!
Respect,brother!
I was there when this went down Live Regency Studio with my daughter. Oh how I look back on this fondly
Found this cassette in a cut-out bin shortly after it came out......a dollar well spent !!!!
This not only is one of the oldest death metal albums, it's also one of the absolute best.
Maybe you should listen a bit more to Messiah ( ua-cam.com/video/_bpuUZdAoe4/v-deo.html ) then. 'Hymn to Abramelin' was released in 1986
Classic Album , Canadian Metal is great \m/
I had INFERNAL MAJESTY wrote in sharpie marker on the back of my Denim coat along with SEPULTURA 'Morbid Visions' in summer 1988 ... man, the memories... Hails from Canada again!
Honestly, I haven't heard this band although I knew them by their name few years ago... I took time to hear them and I find this album awesome!
Don't you just love it when that happens? When you finally give bands you've heard of forever a chance, and you actually end up loving them?
You have a really clever name, by the way!! :)
Nice music. I bought this album about to his realse. Nice to hear it again here.
I always thought King K Rool was on the cover
Deadalus
best album ever
this album is awesome, thanks for the upload
one of the best sounds i´ve ever heard........BRÚTÁL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The bass on this album is so kickass. Anthology of Death is such a killer track \m/
awesome!
the perfect blend of Slayer, Possessed and Mercyful Fate
Almost wanna say a bit of Watchtower was also responsible for the overly technical part! But yes, I agree
Add Dark Angel
Mercyful Fate? Cool
They lick dangling balls. Every last one.
Thanks for posting!!! I always loved this album back in 1987. Next to slayer this was my band
Never heard of this band before but glad I've found them now in my early 40's. First song reminded me of early Slayer which is great. Some very lethal riffage! Thumbs-up from me!
This album is awesome on two levels: one, it's hilariously over the top with it's lyrics and intent. Two, it's absolutely crushing, true thrash. A hipster friend of mine was over one day as I was blasting this, and he turns to me and says 'did he just say "OVERLORD"?' Without sarcasm I looked him dead in the eye and sez: "Fuck yes he did."
Your friend ain't ready for the overlords of metal.
hal900x Bring your friend over to the dark side. Show him Jesu or some other newage crapmetal to start him off, and once he's used to headbanging switch over to thrash
the song is about ww2 normandy invasion , overlord was the codename given
Im 3 years late but this still made me LOL
@Erik Smoot He said gay
One of my favorite openings to an album. Coming out swinging!
Sick and Classsiiiccckkk. Everytime I play this, Its play fucking loud the way its suppose to be played, love it.
ThankYou Brother i have Missed this albumn.. Amen
masterpiece!
Great one, didn´t know them before! As a true thrash fan i will buy this one! Awesome...
always down with some 80's thrash/speed/ metal - never heard of these dudes & I'm diggin' every second of it - there really is something good coming out of Canada
I had my first "adult encounter" to this album back in the day.. those were the days
Apologoes tyo anyone who disagrees............. But THIS album is HEAVIER than Slayer. More quality, heavier guitars heavier riffs, heavier vocals. I believe this album came out just a year or so too late.
Being heavier than slayer’s not exactly a crazy feat. Plenty of thrash bands back then were: Possessed, Demolition Hammer, Dark Angel, Sepultura, Kreator…
They took notes from slayers playbook and dug deeper this album sounds like Hobbs or Hobbs sounds like these guys good stuff
It’s ok
Where they “” went wrong was the album cover not very marketable but nothing that anyone above has said is wrong
There was a time long ago when you picked up an album and looked at the cover and decided if you wanted to buy it no Internet no UA-cam so having a really cool cover was a big deal I personally think this one rules but it obviously is pretty goofy
Sounds killer, I can hear some serious Sacrifice-Foward to Termination vibes. 87 was a great year for metal but alot of thrash bands started to sound the same around this time right before Death metal reared its head from the underground.
In the 80ies and 90ies there were many people believing that metal doesn't have class and is only a raw and spontaneous expression, the "bad" way. Listening to this 36 years later, this album was and is deep as hell and deeper that 99% of music post 2000. Ultimate level of musicianship / killer atmosphere.
One of my alltime faves! Proud to have it here on Vinyl.
:-)
Never understood why this band didnt get huge, this album should be in the ranks of "reign in blood' or "masters of puppets" 'abomination of desolation" "alice in hell" whatever...........this is a classic!!!!!!!!
patrick harreman In the words of Razor “it sucks we’re Canucks”.
Promotion....THEY HAD SHITTY PROMOTERS!! all we heard about was big 4 and then Pantera came....with grunge...and people was lost in that shit. Second thing is as a band you gotta sell yourself...and tour relentlessly...otherwise you wasnt going to hit the underground "billboards" in notoriety or popularity
Because they have not got something fresh. They sound like every thrash band of their time
hard to pill to swallow but not everyone can make it big, there is only so many spots to fill, some great bands miss out
@dexterlee569
They basically took elements from a bunch of popular thrash bands, threw in some punk and created their sound.
Great album.
Amazing album. Some songs like "Night of the Living Dead" sound like a thrash version of Morbid Angel's "Blessed are the sick" era. Very sinister riffs too. Probably the most underrated 80s thrash album of all time.
I also liked how they all looked like a glam band, but they played thrash!
Rick nemes came from a glam styled band in toronto i believe...
@@thegrimmtruth4185 Actually he played drums for Rapid Tears. Check them out. Decent HM and defo not glam....
Yeah thats classic nwobhm styling.... But i can also hear why it was compared slightly to glam ... pretty cool though... Since you obviously have some knowledge about them .. What do you think of the rumor nemes did all the vocals for none shall defy? Both my original lp and cassette say all vocals by Rick nemes..?.. Weve debated it for years ...
@@thegrimmtruth4185 Only thing he did was the stuff on Path of the Psyco. And it's only some spoken words and chanting Ah Ah Ah... Not really "singing".....
much more like , some pure rivet heads !!!
Grande banda de Thrash Metal, gostei demais
This is awesome!
I had no idea how good this album actually was, until now!
This is still the most ferocious Death-Thrash Metal band ever from Canada, and Show's more darkness the vocals were so intense and liked a possessed demon and the barks stood its quintessence, the guitars, bass and drums were so on the line, heavier than Slayer at the time they release South of Heaven yet so underrated many modern bands today couldn't replicate this kind of style in Thrash but there are so many great underrated bands as well in today, just as this one is heavier and so unique such a classic and timeless.
Classic I remember this
Великий альбом
great one!!
Клевая вещица, 87 год. Слэеризм неразрывно был связан с многими трэш группами того периода. Есть в моей муз. коллекции.
THEY NEED TO RE-RELEASE THIS KILLER BADASS ALBUM imo. Remaster rerelease whatever I remember buying in in 1987 & thinking ok lets try this out, & liking several different songs first time hearing it ....... After that it just grew on me even more. ... Still have it on Vinyl in shrinkwrap I bought in early 90s & also on original casstte somewhere and now on CD too. Great super cool album
Umm it was reissued a couple of years ago on High Roller Records. You can still get copies easy enough plus a compilation of their demos.
I was 12 when I heard this shit first time. Blast! What an underrated band.
Brutal.. Metal bien hecho... No como ahora cualquier pendejada... Old school thrash metal
Diego Mauricio Collaguazo Hoy en día hay bandas muy buenas y nuevas.
Hay bandas buenas y bandas malas hoy en día, lamentablemente muchas no dejan de ser repetitivas y poco innovadoras.

Original music. This thing sounds like nothing else...
