I never knew that the Queen was so scared of the Welwyn Viaduct. That viaduct doesn’t scare me at all and is so incredible. Also Great Northern should start allowing the Class 379 Electrostars in service before the end of this year.
@@Sim0nTrains The old station is 3/4 mile north . No trace left now apart from an old parcels building. My friend has an industrial unit on the sight of the sidings.
Simon, You SWORE?! i think if the queen was around still she'd be scared even more about that than the viaduct! 😂 anyways im surprised the queen is even scared of something like this...
Great Northern should start using the Class 379s with some of the Class 387s cascaded to Southern. Didn’t know that The Queen was scared of viaducts. Or is it the Welwyn Viaduct that made her very scared. Has she also been on the Hitchin Viaduct that was built to allow trains to Cambridge and King’s Lynn to pass over the East Coast Main Line just north of Hitchin.
I believe it's officially known as the 'Down Cambridge Flyover' or 'Hitchin Flyover'. It opened in 2013 and since the queen in question as regards the Welwyn Viaduct was Queen Victoria, she wouldn't have been on it .😊
4:25 One is not amused with the foul language from Sheldon hahaha
At least it bleeped 😂
Great video Simon
Great vlog, Simon! A lovely viaduct there!
Now that would be my kind of reaction if my plans got disrupted due to a cancellation or delay! 😂
Thanks Reece. Lucky it wasn't a massive problem but all sorted
Brilliant video Cyber, that viaduct looks impressive, shame about the cancelled train though.
im loving all the stations featured & that viaduct looks stunning brilliant vlog

Great video again, Simon. We're playing catch-up with the videos after filming the Dylington Christmas Special. It took ages to do... Cheers James 🙂👍
Realy enjoying theses Simon
One is not amused that your train was cancelled 😂😂😂
But that is an impressive viaduct at Digswell
Great video, Cyber 👍
Thank you for sharing Simon
The first Stevenage station was NORTH of the current station. Closed July 1973, the new one opened the next day .
That's true and will admit did make that mistake by saying South, thank you

I've been across a bridge like that between London Road station and Brighton station.
Nice video from my neck of the woods. BTW, Arlesey is pronounced "Arl - zee" - there is no 'L' after the 'S'.
Thought I did mispronounce it being honest, did hear it different over the train speaker, thanks
