I've always used the whisker biscuit hunting because of it's simplicity, however, I like shooting heavier arrows as well. Didn't realize the potential issue until you pointed it out in the video. I'm gonna give the drop away rest some serious thought.

I think the Whiskers are a temporary solution you need to replace them once in a while whereas a metal Arrow rest is permanent as long your Bow String is good it is permanent I got one of the metal Arrow rest and I am very excited to learn and get used to it

Great video. I’ve been shooting a whisker biscuit for 10 years. Because of this video, I’ll be buying a Hamski rest this week. Thank you for sharing the knowledge.

There is no doubt in my decision. Next season, I'm making the 6 1/2 hr drive to NC from Va to let you guys do my bow. Plus, I told the wife we could stay by Emerald Isle so I know she won't fuss, lol

Bit late to the party, informative, precise and knowledgeable but nothing on blade rests? Not a criticism, I'm looking to swap my blade for a drop down and you have given me an idea, thanks.

Whisker biscuits contact the arrow for the entire length of the arrow requiring the shooter to have and maintain better form. People who claim they are not accurate are most likely torquing or twitching before the arrow clears the rest. When they switch to a drop away the problems with their form disappears due to less arrow contact.
I will say there is one absolute advantage of a drop away over a biscuit and that is 4 fletch arrows. They will pass through a biscuit but you have to have the fletches set up just right to have all 4 hit right instead of 3 hit the bristles and one pass through the slot at the 10oclock position on the biscuit

Doesn't a whisker biscuit slow an arrow down???
