Mayhem talks about if a recession has already start and how the non Mag 7 companies in the S&P 500 (the other 493 companies) plus many small cap companies are not doing well.
Next, Mayhem talks about how Wall St and many investors are starting to balk about the capex that Big Tech wants to spend on artificial intelligence and data centers. So far the return on investment (ROI) discussed 9in quarterly earnings calls has been very poor.
Mayhem talks in depth about issues with AI software and how Open AI and Chat GPT are already starting to rapidly lose market share in the space. On top of this the next generation data centers have not started construction yet and there is tens of billions of Dollars in construction backlog.
Mayhem lays out the case how Main St, the US consumer and the real US economy are already suffering from continued stagflation and shrinkflation.
Many companies are now in cost cutting mode or debating firing workers unless that are a large cap company that ocked in cheaper debt a few years ago.
Mayhem talks about other central banks already starting a rate cutting cycle and adding liquidity into their capital markets and banks to save their banks and buy government bonds via QE/debt monetization and yield curve control.

Also how would you respond to the argument of some (such as Jeff Snider) that Federal Reserve policy decisions do not have much impact on the real economy?
@matthewseaman2986 Jeff and Steve spend a lot of Dollars on marketing to hide how badly their bond funds have done the last 3 or 4 years. Are you sure you should be trusting bond fund managers and former Goldman Sachs bond salespeople that lied about their massive losses and then claim that there is no evidence of inflation for decades? (One of them says no evidence of inflation for decades repeatedly on his Twitter)
Correct the primary issue with AI right now is LLM's!!! AI Engineers need to focus on AI Neural Networks big time!!!! LLM's will stop hallucinating once Engineers focus on Neural Networks!
The artificial intelligence software has made a lot of progress the last 3 to 5 years. However, additional progress will be very expensive in terms of Capex
