This album is what I describe as “the heavy album Muse always wanted to make”. After all, Muse are huge Deftones fans too, they even signed with Maverick because of them, and have been known to play a couple Deftones riffs during live shows
Think this is my favorite off the album. I always enjoyed the singles but i saw a lot of upset comments from the differing sound. Met you guys at the amsterdam bar (asked from some signed drumsticks, great experience, have them on my wall) and i knew you guys would do me proud. New album is gorgeous. Cant wait for what comes in the future guys but for now i love whats available.
I got to see thornhill live with Moodring in the states I got to meet 4/5 of thornhill their bass player Nick was absent at the show and the ERRA tour as well he had a wedding to attended back in Australia but I did meet Jacob, Ethan, matt and Ben I was shy and nervous to meet them.
When Thornhill changed their sound I kind of broke up with them, but then the album dropped and now I want you guys back and I hope you'll forgive me, it's funny to me because that's the kind of experience the album is about lol
After giving a listen to the whole album, I feel this song is the most accurate sound they were going for.. the others were so drowned and all over the place.. still love them but yeah as a true fan this is my response.. now I only have top 2 instead of 3.. LOATHE/CURRENTS for the win ❤️
@@fanrosefabrose9457 OR, stop using fans of your music as stepping stones to "the real you" and trying to get a cd sale from people who expect one thing and get another. Seems a bit rude to me. If I change my genre I change the name so no one feels cheated. just sounds reasonable to me. If ACDC released an album that sounded like Loretta Lynn I'd imagine the fans would feel a bit PUNKED.
No more jokes about Jacob tryna find a girlfriend... he just stole everyone's
That chorus is GOD TIER
Also worth noting: 1:56 is such a beautiful section
This is truth
Yes, couldn't agree more.
truly
Especially the live version on the heroine tour ugh it's so much better live than the studio version.
Favorite song off the album. Definitely has a Beauty School/ Knife Party vibe 🔥
when I first heard it I was getting sextape vibes from deftones.
YES.
@@KayleighStarkey12 Totally agree defiantly getting sextape by deftones vibes in the song.
I remember watching an interview where he says the Deftones are overrated, or he doesn't understand why they are popular, something to that effect lol
@@paul123100 wait, for real?
Jacob's vocals are absolutely heavenly!
Jacob is in my top ten favorite Male vocalist of all time.
This one has Dark Pool and HIM vibes for me. Definetily one of the most original sound in metal right now. Amazing song!
I wish they made a music video for it.
3:54 onwards brings me to tears. Such a beautiful ending.
Me to I almost strated crying to this song and the hellfire club too.
Everyone mentioning Deftones but there’s a lot of Muse here too, great song

Definitely one of my faves off the new album. The ending of this song....Perfect....3:54
The ending... no words, totally agree with you
That chorus is god tier.
So true
Whatever Thornhill's new direction is, it's my genre. Hellfire Club, Blue Violet, and Obsessed in particular fill a void I didn't realize I had.
Leave it to Ben to write buttery-smooth drum parts. They're always so memorable and driving!
His drum work is amazing
@@LeatherDaddy97 This guy is a freaking G my dude he is SLICK
the intro drums gives me ‘Beauty School’ vibes, then the drums on the chorus gives me ‘Knife Party’ chorus vibes.. tremendous 🙌🏽🔥

Best song on the album by far
this song's gonna be on repeat for a long time. ❤
This one just hits different on another level. My favorite track on the album
DEFTONES vibe for sure!!!!!!!
DUDE I THOUGHT THE SAME FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE VID, From sextape right??
This song's one of those you cannot dedicate to some girl despite all the love that you could feel... Even when she deserve this
This one really needs a music video ! Amazing
If you need a music video to appreciate it, you're missing the point brother.
@@chriskalantzis7429 I think he means a music video would draw in more views/new listeners
I agree Blue velvet needs a video and the Hellfire club too also valentine.
HOLY they really went all in on deftones this record. Seems like tons of bands are these days and im all for it
Vexes are the best one, go check the new album 👍🏼
My favorite song on the album. Sooooo soo good!!! This is my #3 on my album of the year list so far.
Cant stop listening!
@Polakis Greyhaven and Rolo Tomassi
This is such a beautiful song.❤️ This band can do no wrong.
This song will make any grown man cry
I am absolutely in love with the whole album, with each listen it gets better and better.
Huuge😱😱this is one of the bravest bands in the world for not going safe and showing their versatility
Jacob's high vocals shakes my heart
Me too you should check out his side project called cherry if your into Indie pop.
Oh my god this my favorite song Jacob’s vocals is perfect and the live version of blue velvet is so good too.
the vocals + chord harmony in this part 4:01 is just a hell of an eargasm
Thornhill is amazing😊♥️. These songs never disappoint!🥰 Keep going like this!
Deftones influence in the first 20 seconds? I’m in.
It sounds like sextape
That chorus is otherworldly 😭🔥
Fellow South African here. Great to see another thornhill fan

Just listen to deftones.
yep it's a tragic love story. sounds like this one had a happy ending though 😄
Same counts for me, funny that I also discovered deftones shortly before this album came out
@@jayybren Truth be told, I haven't been able to find a single Deftones song that gives me the same vibes that Thornhill's new sound gives.
The beginning gives me Deftones vibes and I love it!
So many words to describe this song.. thankyou guys..!!
This album sounds EXPENSIVE 🤍✨💎💎💎 each track is phenomenal !!
This one and Heroine are my absolute favorite, they are so magical. And still so sexy :D
that's it.
AOTY. no doubts.
BEAUTY SCHOOL
I love this song so much. I feel like this song was inspired by David Lynch’s, Blue Velvet, which would sweet if it is based off that
One of my favorites!
Love the whole album! I am already addicted to it. 😍
Love from Indonesia. Hope to see you guys here someday
I wanna gatekeep this so bad
One of the best ones on the album

Despite well recognized Deftones vibe this track is way much better everything Deftones doing after Saturday Night Wrist.
Sextape, Beauty school, Entombed, Rosemary. All after SNW. No not better lol

mi rola favorita del momento
Koi No Heroine
Warning: this song causes hormonal confusion 😩
I'm glad I'm not the only one who got a boner while crying listening to this song.
how come they never play this song live?
I hear a lot of Arcane Roots in this song

Deftones - Sextape. Am I the only one who can hear it?
Definitely
I thought more like Beauty School
Dude, I thought the same in the first 5 seconds! Loving this album
@@billynewland189 You're probably right, just the intro reminds me of sextape
I thought the first seconds of the song were a homage being paid to the Deftones.
Sounds a bit like Deftones
just 10 seconds in and I heard sextape in this!
Lol a bit?
I see myself in Rapture while listening to this song.
Wtf I didn't like this on my first listen!?
I love it but I wish you guys will come back to your old style but it's still fire
Toughen it back up fellas, never a good idea with such a short catalog to become a different genre. JS.
