    Hi!
    First just wanted to say thank you for posting these videos, I made a witch class for dnd 5e that I now would like to see realized in bg3 and these videos help a lot to get started! I saw other comments that mentioned creating custom features for classes, such as class abilities and I think that would be an awesome video as well!
    At 7:11 you talked about MulticlassSpellcastModifier and I believe it is used to figure out when you unlock new spellslots. When multiclassing with for example wizard 3 and sorcerer 3, you have as many spellslots as a wizard or sorcerer in lvl 6. These are referred to as full casters, whereas rangers and paladins are halfcasters (they unlock two 1st level spellslots at level 2 instead of lvl 1), and arcane trickster or eldritch knight are 1/3 casters. So being a wizard 1 and paladin 2 would give you as many spellslots as a wizard 2 or a paladin 4. This trend can be seen in the ClassDescriptions column in the Shared map with values being 1, 0.5 and 0.34 :) So basically, it helps calculate how your progression of spellslots should look if you multiclass into it, with the current usages beeing full casters, half casters or 1/3 casters!

    Hey, just want to give a huge thank you for what you've done for the community with your guides. I started modding when the toolkit came out and your videos both recent and not have been a huge help. I just released my first mod, a class mod, and I owe a lot of it to guides like yours. So again, thank you for these!

    Subscribed after all the help I'd be crazy not to, I'm currently making a crazy attempt to make the subclass Arcane Archer from Xanathar's Guide to Everything, I somehow without using videos figured out how to create the "Arcane Shots" resource however I'm struggling on how to create the spells and attach them to the said resource...I am also trying to create a list to select from since at 3rd level you can select two uses of Arcane Shots and you can select two options. My first two I'm trying to make are the Bursting Arrow and Enfeebling Arrow...so far this has become my wall lol

It will likely not get as detailed as you are looking (my goal is to broadly help folks get started with focused cases often requiring individual tinkering).     Hi, Great video and I am super excited to be a patron now! I was wondering if you could help me with a question regarding BG3 modding. I want to make a subclass like Samurai for the Fighter Class, but I am wondering how I create custom class features (I think this is what they are called).
    For example, Samurai has the following:
    "Fighting Spirit
    Starting at 3rd level, your intensity in battle can shield you and help you strike true. As a bonus action on your turn, you can give yourself advantage on all weapon attack rolls until the end of the current turn. When you do so, you also gain 5 temporary hit points. The number of hit points increases when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to 10 at 10th level and 15 at 15th level.
    You can use this feature three times. You regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest."
    Any help is appreciated.

      Thanks for your support! Sure! A video on making custom subclasses is coming next. The poll on the next video will likely include custom spells, so that will likely be the video after subclasses, meaning it should cover what you are looking for. I have also added custom action resource points onto my list of video suggestions (that would cover using this feature three times). As for your specific modding questions, what you are describing sounds pretty feasible if mixing and matching existing spells, just added into some of the more poorly described spell/passive fields like StatsFunctors. I can put a video on each field in spells and passives in the poll for the next video and the one after that, since it would also likely be useful for many folks. If you can think of additional topics that would be useful, do not hesitate to let me know and I will do what I can to make it work.

    Really enjoyed watching these videos and learning how to make my own mods! This is an old question but on your create a class video (I know very old lol) When I try to make a pak parsing error at line at or line 15, column 2, unrecognized guid format. Have no idea what that means. Help appreciated if by chance see this.

      That is likely an issue with having UUIDs that need to be made (I put in templates in the Polymath files). I would recommend using the Toolkit from now on as you don't have to worry with fields that have to be manually put in and it is more stable

    Hey! awesome video, i'd love if i could get some help with class mods, i want to make a feature where the mark of the vengeance paladin is able to be passed by other enemies like the spell hunter's mark or hex, you have any idea of how to do that?

      Not right now, I'd recommend adapting those spells to do what you want. Once we take care of more general topics on my channel, we can start looking into specific use cases that are interesting

    Can subclasses be given tagged for instruments and can learn spells or is that stuff only for the class as a whole

      I feel like that should work if you code the subclass for that in the ClassDescriptions/Progressions file, though let me know once you start playing around with it!

    Does the toolkit break 3rd party mods, or just some saves from the new patches?

      I'm not actually sure. Old mods should work, as long as they do not come with the mod fixer, which seems to be the issue. I'd test them to see. I have sadly not seen much documentation on how to adjust mods after patch 7 from Larian, and am still waiting for them to get back to me about moving pre patch 7 mods into the toolkit
