I really enjoy watching this Matty Moss pitch! She's everything an athlete should be: fully comited to the game, leader of her team, high level and consistant, but mostly having FUN playing the game! She loves it and it shows. Great to see... One thing I don't get though: how can professional Softball struggle so much while college Softball is such a big thing? Why can't the profesional teams draw the same attention (aka money...) as these college championships? These young women should get more chance to keep on playing the game they love at the very same level, not just on sunday parties... Is there a reason it is that way?
Not throwing off (no pun intended) on Barnhill, but with all she brings to the game, these kind of outings PROVE, it takes everyone contributing to win at TEAM sports. Softball is not a singular endeavor.
Just to add a side note, Ashley Rogers, the freshman pitcher for Tennessee, is from Athens, TN. Not Georgia. She played against me in high school softball . And yes, she has a nasty rise ball.

T Higson right!? I get she’s an elite pitcher and they don’t want to call an illegal pitch EVERY TIME, but damn! It’s painfully obvious. Not taking anything away from her, obviously she’s a great pitcher. But I’m sure the crow hop helps a little bit of that 🤷🏻♀️🤣
Theo Maluleke - Yeah, sure that was “ugly” loss from the Gators perspective. That said, I would hardly use the word *”floppy”* to describe the teams pitching staff. One that *I know* most other teams in the nation would kill to have. With Kelly Barnhill undeniably topping that list, as well.

matty moss was one of my role models. i remember watching her pitch when i had hitting lessons when i was 12.
I miss watching these games, it’s really sad how we won’t be having the 2020 softball season. Can’t wait until next year, though!
