This video was made before the last one so no material list. Sorry. Will be featured in the upcoming videos from now.

Very nice, the UV added to the body is a nice touch. Thanks for sharing.

Really nice fly. i have also fallen in love with the semperfly 18/0 thread. I haven't found the 12/0 but have many colors in 8/0 uni so I use that to cover things and switch to the nano silk. All the best to you and yours. Thanks for sharing. Sean

+Sean Mooney Thank you Sean, the thread is the best ever. Glad you like it too. In combo with the 8/0 uni, works perfectly. All the best. Simon

    I know it's an older video but I have a question 🤔
Wouldn't you want the wing case on the other side because of the hook shape?
Seems like the Top of the bug would be facing down when you fish it 🤭

Most don't think it matters. On jig hooks I usually tie them the way you suggested since I am going to Euronymph or tightline nymph them. If you are fishing them below and indicator it doesn't matter because unless the flow is really slow, the fly tumbles. I have used them both ways, no difference on effectiveness. They look cooler in your fly box tied the way in the video. =]

Not sure that the wing case is really necessary on a very nice fly. Perhaps just the peacock herl and nothing else?

+Bob Fowler Not necessary bug gives a little nicer looking fly in my opinion, also adds some durability. Would work well with only peackock herl or dub.

That’s what I thought at first too but that UV resin does some pretty cool stuff. It really highlights the separation between the tinsel, the Swiss straw, and the peacock dubbing.
