Then some turn to drugs just to feel numb and watch it all go by, I've sadly seen it and lived it, I love watching people overcome and it's heartwarming when people do good for others just to do it kindness is wonderfull I think aboutany I've known and lost who let it all slip away I guess I just want to say I wish better for anyone going through it bad choices don't always make a bad person

This is one of the sweetest sentiments I've read. You're definitely right. I've met many truly kind and compassionate people living in the streets who just needed a little help to get them through even the day. When it comes to your conscience, you can't go wrong being kind and paying it forward to someone in need.

Ive been homeless a couple times, my parents died when i was young and i had no support system. Without a doubt i have been helped by people along the way mostly buy those who had absolutely nothing to give far more than those that had the ability or even distant family or friends from previous times when life was going better and i had the white picket fence and 2 cars in tye garage.. dont want to talk when youre down, maybe theyre afraid id ask for help which id never do. But for me the times ive been homeless or down and out is so humbling,., it raised my understanding of the need for compassion and the value of integrity far more than before.. Not all homeless poeple are on drugs or mentally challenged some are just playing the shitty hand they were dealt. Its not that hard to have a heart, be kind, and try not to judge. Ps. Thank you Jesus

Days later they went back to find him? They should've said, "Dad, this is Tim and he's coming with us bc we need to help him for saving us 4 girls." And if they couldn't have said it, Dad should've done it. Gratitude is an on the spot payment to be forked over - esp. for something like this. Think about it ... if not for Tim, days later, they might have been attending 4 funerals. God bless Tim wherever he is. I wish him to easily have whatever he needs. This is so sad - lost opportunity.

When I was a new mom with a newborn and a toddler I went one day to a small playgroup. Got out of my car with my baby girl in her carrier and holding my son's hand. A van pulled in front of me and 2 men tried to pull me in their van. They pulled on me and my arms and I remember how tightly I held my children and leaned forward trying to break their grip. Like a standing fetal position. Out of nowhere another man ran up and punched one of them in the face and told me to run. It honestly felt like an invisible hand pulled me quickly down the sidewalk. I heard a lot of commotion and briefly turned my face, both men were on the ground and the man who saved us was nowhere to be seen. Just gone. I will never forget him, I wish I could have thanked him. I wholly believe that God sends us either an angel or person that looks like everyone else, or maybe even a homeless man with a kind heart to protect in times of trouble. God bless you stranger in Maine. God bless you Tim. 🙏
