Hi Daniel, I left a few other foods out of the video, but these are some of the easiest fish fry to grow out. Thanks for watching mate :)

Colin, you did a great job. I just happen to see that my 5 Juvie Brown Bristlenose Pleco Hybrids that I picked up are grown up and having babies of their own. They must be big enough now to leave the hide and I saw them on the Driftwood. I need to run out and pickup some Cucumber and Spinach tomorrow. I have been breaking up the Algae Wafers, Spirulina Tablets...
I can start the Yummy Wood in a Tank and they will be well seasoned for future Fry.
Thank you for a great bunch of tips.

      Hi Tim,
It's great that all these catfish species are so easy and cheap to feed. I could have added peas, broccoli, corn and rice to the list. Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video :)

@@AussieAquatic I feed mine peas from time to time(usually when there is an issue in the tank with the other fish). I have tried them on carrots but they don't like them, maybe it's too firm for them even after blanching them. I have not tried broccoli/corn/rice. Ill stick to what they like so far, can't afford to waste food.

The best part is that we usually have those foods on our plates, and a teaspoon worth often finds it's way to the fish ……...LOL :)

I was surprised a couple days ago that my two plecos had little eggs, so I did some quick research and once they hatched, I placed them into a breeder box, I’ve been feeding them algae wafers, thanks for the info!

hello there, good video. Just one thing I would suggest is don't bother giving your fish cucumbers. Give them zucchinis. Zucchini has more Vitamin B and C and higher potassium and iron. If you blanch zucchini and freeze it it lasts practically forever. Also when you take the frozen pizzas out of the fridge you can throw them directly into your fish tank and as they thought they will sink to the bottom.

G'day mate, it actually is zucchini I use, but I was rushing through the video editing and didn't want to spell it wrong...…..LOL.
I do also use green peas, but didn't have any on hand to film. These little fish are super easy to feed.
Thanks so much for watching. :)

@@AussieAquatic lol... that's hilarious about the spelling! No problem, I thought it was an excellent and informative video I just wanted to pass that on about the Cucumber because it's really not very nutritious. Take care

@@TheBudgetAquarist I've got a spelling mistake in one of my early videos. I'm waiting for someone to point it out.........😀😀
