Been to Singapore several times but just for the day then onto Bali for business. Next trip plan to spend several days here. Thanks for the great video just linger a bit more on the sculptures and flowers at the Gardens by the Bay. Orchid Gardens are amazing too.

Lived in Singapore in the 80's when now late man was stationed there with nz Army .
Gorgeous country ,people food and climate.

One thing for the future, as Singapore uses Singapore Dollar and many travelers use US Dollar as a benchmark then this can be confusing. Might be worth clarifying more often if it's USD or SGD. Great work though!

Singapore is an amazing place. I did all of this in 3 days myself but I went to the Botanical Gardens as well which was very nice

A couple of years back I was in Singapore for Christmas and New years. I’d booked 3 nights in the Marina Bay Sands with a suite facing the Marina, $1000SGD PER NIGHT, booked in February. My sister decided to join us at the last minute and couldn’t get a room in the MBS. She booked into the Marina Mandarin at about $SGD400 per night. We told her she could join us for the fireworks. When she booked in she asked with a grin and a wink I don’t suppose you’ve got a room facing the Marina? The receptionist said oh madam we do but it won’t be available for at least half an hour. She got a suite, with a balcony overlooking the Marina on New Years Eve 🤬. Arsey cow 😂

Yes I remember when we went there’s 2 shows an hour apart, 7.45 & 8.45pm both lasting around 15 mins & I’m sure your kid will love it 🙏👍🏻
So did you already exchange currency before arriving, or did you do that after you arrived, and how is the exchange rate then? It seems that this very important factor is missing in many travel guide videos. I'm curious to know. Thanks.
Valid point and great comment, with Fang being from Thailand she registered for a travel card with KBank called yourtrip and we were able to load money onto that via the app, and use that card for everything including MRT, food etc... At the time of the video the exchange rate was a little bit lower then it was 25.8ThaiBaht to 1SGD and now it's 27.09ThaiBaht to 1SGD. Really great feedback I'll be sure to take that onboard for future videos, much appreciated 🙏

Day 1 : total cost for 2 person 1,170 $ ( 585 per each)
Day 2 : total cost for 2 person 368$ (184 per each)

@@daverock78rooms were a bit small but comfortable, it had everything we needed…. Breakfast was ok and the pool was nice and only a 5 minute walk to the MRT 👍🏻

Hotel Boss is pretty popular. I walked past it two weeks ago at night and the lobby is so crowded with people. You should have visited Little India. It is very near to you
It was a very busy Hotel, especially in the lobby area and we will visit Little India next time for sure!

The sauce for the eggs is light soya sauce. The jam in the bread is kaya jam (pandan leaves, eggs, coconut based)
