Apology is a great place to start but do they even know why they are apologizing? Are they apologizing because of the backlash or are they apologizing for being part of what was said?
Absolutely the backlash. They’re currently at their peak financially. Both have complained about the many odd jobs they’ve worked and now they’re driving luxury cars, dressing better, and living well because their brand has taken off. They have a large black fan base and when you lose the women’s support - good luck to your career. Seeing those subscriber counts dropping across their platforms after the controversy likely freaked them out because they can’t afford for those checks to stop coming in now. They’re not sorry about the embarrassment and shame created by the situation, they’re more sorry for their bank accounts. You get one opportunity to show yourself to me and they will never have my support again as a BW.

They are being ambiguous (our community) because they don’t want to apologize specifically to black women because men get dragged for showing black women any ounce of respect. 🤷🏾♀️
These guys were hilarious when I watched them when they first came out….but I eventually had to block their content from my feed because every so often, they would make these really awful comments about women…I don’t remember what they said but I remember laughing 🤣 and then suddenly going 😐 cause they made a comment about women that had me going, wait, what? This is typical of our men in our community…the women in their community are nothing but stepping stones to success. They will pander to us for views and support but they will never return that support to us. So I’m glad, all this time later, I was right to log off and stop watching these guys. I remember that one black UA-camr who was rising in success and was all yeah, black women rock and all that but then they dug up past tweets and comments and he was DOGGING the hell out of us. You gotta be careful about who you give your support to and PLEASE BLACK WOMEN…I am so sick and tired of this…it’s a little off topic but we need to elevate the caliber and standard of people we support cause how is it that we got people like Bill Cosby and R. Kelly and P. Diddy and all these predators having been successful? We need to draw hard lines that if you hurt black women, you will not get successful off of us. This is a good start. If they don’t stand by us, we don’t stand by them.
Because they didn’t care, and they are only apologizing because the majority of their fan base were Black women. We need to stop patronizing most of these BM. You can tell most BM HATE BW.
I am a white woman and stopped watching them because I noticed their jokes and chats were going always into the direction of disrespecting women. Before this even happend. Glad I didn't stick around. Men need to be called out and held responsible for their behaviour!
I unsubscribed so quick! I commented on the video because we as black women need to stop being so God damn forgiving! They never actually apologized to black women directly.
Guess what!? These podcasters would never try someone like Dr. Umar or Dr Lamont Hill. It is so devastating to see how much hatred BW get. LEAVE US ALONE. Let us be. You don't love us, ok fine, but stop propagating that hatred. Let others have the opportunity to protect and love us.
Dr. Umar doesn't like BW either, so don't be fooled. He is a grifter who has 2 daughters that he has avoided providing child support for and refused to see them because supervised visits were court ordered.
So they did a fake apology and also stated they were two adult men scared to counter AS insulting black women so they just rolled with it?? Pathetic and Ridiculous!!
Apologies are overrated. I hear what the comments are saying but when WE stop supporting MOST of the problematic people out here then they won’t have a leg to stand on. Hopefully we are actually learning but we’ll still go and watch someone’s video knowing that it’s giving them revenue to disrespect us.

Their podcast name tells you that they are here for the laughs. I've never gotten the sense that they felt compelled to "protect" black women. They laugh at sexist jokes or comments. The issue here is that the person who was making the jokes about black women is white. If the jokes were made by another black man, there would be no issue. I doubt that they have issues with the negative black female stereotyping.....it's funny to them.
Every time men come together in a podcast they always have to bring up women in a negative light!!!! Keep ya cookies to yourself ladies!!! They don’t like us.

The fact that this is not posted on their UA-cam 1st or 2nd channel, nor on their TikTok speaks VOLUMES!!! This must have been a patreon exclusive. And to never specifically say Black women is another slap in the face. I’m not surprised but still disappointed
There are some Black men who would have stopped andrew and would have told him they didn’t appreciate his attack on Black women…..these two failed….continuing to fail because they cannot speak specifically to Black Women……..
They only apologized after they got backlash. And it was not an apology it was making an excuse for joining in making fun of Black women. We need to show them how we feel about them.
I don’t watch Andrew or Charlemagne. These two didn’t stand up for themselves. He made a joke about James being a double slave, and they just laughed. That was incorrect, and disrespectful in so many ways.

I don’t know how this ended up on my timeline, but there are a lot of “what had happens” and not a lot of apology. They sound like they’re more pissed that their “awesome American” tour got tarnished, not that they made a conscious decision that later blew up in their face. 🤷🏾
I'm sick and tired of being the butt of the joke. I subscribed to them because I felt safe with them and their jokes. There was at least a podcast where I could finally enjoy and not tense up and worry about them trying to lecture bw about how to act, dress, or tell us that we are less than and deserve bottom of the barrel treatment. I was able to forget those negative podcasts by these guys and their rollplay scenarios. For them to go on a podcast with Andrew was so reckless. I will not accept their apology and will no longer be giving them my money. Maybe Andrew's fans will give them the support that they desperately needed since bw's money and support wasn't enough.
4:15 my exact thoughts! And when they went on a podcast with black women (pour minds) they’re talking about how they didn’t see no baddies in all, STILL talking down on black women imo. The 85 south show was RIGHT THERE! Like cmon. This “apology” was so bad. I won’t be consuming their content going forward.
"Community?" I think they are talking about their fans....let's remember that the sng podcast is not a black podcast, out of the four of them that are on the camera only 2 are actually black....James is mixed (not black). Personally I would have preferred to hear more from Fuhad (the one who's actually black)

@@itazuranakisuWhen are we going to stop though? Fighting but still supporting the “problem” Is the main issue.
They only apologizing because they got caught. They expressed how they felt about black women very bluntly. Not one time did I hear them apologize to black women. They are apologizing to their subscribers. I hope the woman that's offended by them hit that unsubscribe button fast as hell.. I never been subscribed to them But they still can Kick Rocks..
#BABYzZz, IAN #EVEN 👂🏾 TO THIS #BS!
I FOUND IT THIS MORNING ON AN BLACK GUY'S PODCAST. . . I 🤔 HIS NAME IS THE PUBLIC SUM'N. . . SORRY, MR. BUT I LITERALLY JUST FOUND YOU BOUT THREE DAYS AGO. . . GIVE ME TYME AN I'LL LEARN THE LAST PART OF YOUR PODCAST NAME!
BABYzZz, #IWuzFNLIVID!!!! 😒🙅🏾♀️😒. 🤬😡. 🙄. 🥱 AN I ACTUALLY LYKED THEM. . . BEEN FOLLOWING FOR YEARzZz! No!
The bulk of their subscribers are Black British meaning African and Caribbean. The only women I see complaining are black American. They'll be fine.
@db6881 Are you
trying to say that african and caribbean women are used to this type of behavior.
They don’t sound like they know. They didn’t even apologize for laughing. Only for not confronting him.
@@yasminfrancis9069 they are not apologizing they are responding to backlash while also getting more views…
They were not uncomfortable- they were laughing right along with them. GTFOH
Hard Pass on that Apology! 👋🏽
Charlamagne has been on my no watch list for years now. ✋🏽🛑
Oh shizz, what did he do? Why is he on the Daily Show?
Googled it. Done with the Daily Show.
Beeeeen
Repeating each other statements, long pauses, skipping over the heart of matter. No dice! Not an apology!
Shannon sharpe ain't no better
I’ve lost so much respect for that male
When he talked with Amanda seales and kept trying to invalidate her lived experience to pacify white people I put him in the useless category
@@poohcanplay123 Lmao at "males." Now when we start calling them males, cut to them crying in the shower like a victim in a Lifetime movie in the 90s.
The way James sighed and continued to the regular program sealed it for me.
I always assumed they didn’t date black women but the way they dismissed this issue made me unfollow.
I noticed that as well
You gotta ask a ninja, why does someone even feel comfortable talking issh about me around you?
They sound like they were the victims.... lol
Image if they stood up for us, their mothers, sisters, aunts and daughters.
Keep imagining, bc they won’t. We have to stop being delusional about BM.
Never happen
@@chanelpreston4194 it’s not about being delusional that’s why I said image. My point is if Pub was in s/g shoes how would bw react to being protected out loud in real time.
I already know what real!
Well, James' mother is a white Irish woman so he did stand up for his mother, 😂! I know it's not funny but I couldn't help myself. I'm more disappointed in Fuhad than James to be honest.
@@BlueMoon-nk6jn You will have no choice but to ACCEPT, that this will never happen. With all due respect.
The men who are leaders and protectors also become deer in headlights in the face of exactly zero danger to themselves.
They are being ambiguous (our community) because they don’t want to apologize specifically to black women because men get dragged for showing black women any ounce of respect. 🤷🏾♀️
I agree✅
This is how those two males behave in privacy with males of other ethnicities. The only difference here is they were being filmed.
It's how they behave with the same ethnicity as well. Men be menning.
We’re the MOST disrespected but still want to be the most supportive to everyone 🤦🏾♀️
Most of us are tapped 😮
Bw we are our own community. They don't support, protect, or care about us. Let them deal with their own ish.
They know better to say anything negative about white men.
It's sad that they didn't realize how "inappropriate " the jokes were in real time.
Because they didn’t care, and they are only apologizing because the majority of their fan base were Black women. We need to stop patronizing most of these BM. You can tell most BM HATE BW.
They do know the difference.
They knew
No, they AGREED in real time. We gotta see things as they are.
They know AND speak up when it’s about BM.
It’s shits & giggles when it’s about BW though.
They are even angrier that they were made to issue a semblance of an apology.
They just don't want to lose any money 😅 they don't care that black women were disrespected
I am a white woman and stopped watching them because I noticed their jokes and chats were going always into the direction of disrespecting women. Before this even happend. Glad I didn't stick around. Men need to be called out and held responsible for their behaviour!
You're smart and have a backbone
Its jokes not a big deal soft ass society
I unsubscribed so quick! I commented on the video because we as black women need to stop being so God damn forgiving! They never actually apologized to black women directly.
BW don't fall for their fake apology...please.
They not like us
They not for us
🙁
Guess what!? These podcasters would never try someone like Dr. Umar or Dr Lamont Hill. It is so devastating to see how much hatred BW get. LEAVE US ALONE. Let us be. You don't love us, ok fine, but stop propagating that hatred. Let others have the opportunity to protect and love us.
Dr. Umar is.... He had his own set of issues but we all know he would checked him and repeated the check 3 times.
Dr. Umar doesn't like BW either, so don't be fooled. He is a grifter who has 2 daughters that he has avoided providing child support for and refused to see them because supervised visits were court ordered.
Umar is a joke wheres that imaginary school of his? Don't tell me you're still funding his gambling addiction.
So why didn't they say "move on" when he started talking about black women ? 🤔
Lol @ y'all being disappointed in BM. They've been showing us who they are for YEARS.
DECADES!
Centuries. They didn’t even give a f*ck about their women back in the slave days and majority of them kissed the white master’s a$$ just to be close to their massa’s a$$es. Heck, majority of them h@ted Harriet Tubman. Majority of black men are incapable of protecting us and I’ve stopped expecting the bare minimum from them. History has been told us that black men really h@te black women and I’m not even surprised. Not even a little bit. It’s what they do. Not all but majority of them.

Yup. THIS is who they really are. Constantly putting down black culture/people while chasing the WM approval. This is what they do…
For the last century if you think about it
I feel no loss nor contempt for these two men...I'm thankful to learn of their true feelings and now I will move accordingly. Good luck gentlemen.
They didn't give an apology, They gave a defense..
We need to start to decide that we are more important than desiring the attention and support of a group of people who don't like us. They don't like us, they just want our usefulness.
They proved they have no love for black women on their own podcast well before appearing on Andrew Shulz. Screw your sus apology. Take your L.
AGREED!!! Protect and love black women.
Every time men come together in a podcast they always have to bring up women in a negative light!!!! Keep ya cookies to yourself ladies!!! They don’t like us.
BS!
Totally. The most lackluster apology I’ve heard.
If you didn't know the full context who would you think that 'apology' was for? THAT'S how bad it was.
Show this video everywhere. This is what KDot was talking about.
I'm a white woman and I used to watch their stuff about a year ago but I stopped and unfollowed. I always felt they were problematic and couldn't hack the way they talked about women. Not surprised they're getting cancelled...
The fact that these were DIRECT insults... no "reading between the lines" required...pausing between the insults with time to "soak it in". Yeah, I'm gonna bypass this "apology" and MOVE ON. 😊
You know what makes me laugh is they stated that there was no excuse than continued to list a bunch of excuses 🙄
🥱🥱🥱🥱
I’m tired
They sound like they wanna get over the apology real quick
As the immortal song says, "F**ck, those ninjas!" or whatever T Pain hollered.
Money being affected is the true inspiration here... Couldn't even say "Black women" in the whole statement ...very telling.
It was later exposed that they approved the bits and pieces of their interview and chose to leave in the part about Black women. Yeah.
Imagine being “men” and thinking of yourself as a protector and all you want to do is “move on” and run away from the opportunity to do the thing you claim you are born to do (protect!!)? Thank goodness we don’t expect protection from them, because BM keep showing that they 1. Don’t want the job & 2. Couldn’t do the job even if they wanted to. Ask for apologies later, eh? Scared to say it to his face. Damn shame.
The fact that this is not posted on their UA-cam 1st or 2nd channel, nor on their TikTok speaks VOLUMES!!! This must have been a patreon exclusive. And to never specifically say Black women is another slap in the face. I’m not surprised but still disappointed
What?! Where is it posted?!
@@courtneywitherspoon8584 they deleted it expeditiously!!
There are some Black men who would have stopped andrew and would have told him they didn’t appreciate his attack on Black women…..these two failed….continuing to fail because they cannot speak specifically to Black Women……..
They definitely planned all this. Because why not edit that part out?
They won’t. His opening statement said it all. CANCELLED in my book completely. No second chances.
They couldn't even say they let down Black Women who were the main victims in this, they just kept saying our community.
"Charlemagne on his toe nail" = new subscriber 😅😂😅 loved your commentary on this!
They showed their true colors!
They ate his shit sitting down and let him humiliate them. Disgusting
I think they're very immature for having allowed that happen in the first place. I don't care whether or not they aplogize.
They only apologized after they got backlash. And it was not an apology it was making an excuse for joining in making fun of Black women. We need to show them how we feel about them.
Just unsubscribed their channels
I don’t watch Andrew or Charlemagne.
These two didn’t stand up for themselves. He made a joke about James being a double slave, and they just laughed. That was incorrect, and disrespectful in so many ways.
Double slave?
@@smarti1144 James was talking about how he’s mixed Trini and Irish and Andrew said he was double slaved. Then called him a potato slave after that, those two just laughed. I could be the editing but it still sounds hella disrespectful.
I want them to actually do better. James is a colourist and he’s been called out about that in the past.
They’re not even apologizing to black folks!!!! Just their “community” (the folks that watch their shit, purchase merch etc). Like “sorry y’all didn’t like what we said we won’t say it out loud anymore” is basically what this “apology” was. Chiiiiiiilee anywayyyyy!
They aren't sorry. They never are.
There is no coming back: black women now know EXACTLY who they are.
I’m so glad I found your podcast/channel. I agree with everything you said. ❤️🖤
Lololol Big yawwn💃🏾😋
"Community?" I think they are talking about their fans....let's remember that the sng podcast is not a black podcast, out of the four of them that are on the camera only 2 are actually black....James is mixed (not black). Personally I would have preferred to hear more from Fuhad (the one who's actually black)
Talk to Katt Williams 😮
Whatever. They are full of it.
I didn’t even know who these guys were, thankfully😅
Where's the apology?
I didn't hear one.
I unsubscribed & disliked their videos so damn quick 😂😂😂 that’s the response from NOT realizing how much black women actually supported them 😮💨 Ohhh welllll 🥳
F their apology
James and Fahad are aware they know black British men mostly date non black women they laughed cos they agreed with him. Cancel those sellouts
I don't think they're talking about the Black community..as I don't think they eff with us like that.
They never mentioned Andrew Schultz 💅🏾
❤you explained what this does to the Black perfectly. I wish more black people (especially Black men) would understand this better.
They winged thier apology 😂 its not even well thought out off...WTF
