Enabling Frame Generation equalizes the odds. There is not much difference between 120 fps and 130 fps
basically the same card, but with different power consumption level hence FPS difference
Very useful video at an important time. Considering the 4070 S has minimal upgrade and now being sold at a premium, 4070 with rate cut is now a better value and gives flexibility to change after 4-5 years.
These versions are good when you want to get the 4070 cheaper, the new super series dropped base 4070 prices here for about 100 euros.
Performance wise its not wise to pay premium for marginal differences.
Got a 4070 with a reasonable price. I could not care less about these other versions except that they do lower the prices.

Here in Australia the cheaper models of the ti and super are the same price. Its a no brainer really. What are prices like for everyone else?
Here on the west coast of the us the base is $500, super is $600 retail and the ti is now around $700 for the ventus 2x, just have to to find the right deal
All things being equal, the price difference between the 4070 and the 4070 Super is about $60, the price difference between the 4070 Super and the 4070 Ti is about $190...each card offers similar performance increases over the previous, but the cost difference is 3x going from the 4070 Super to the 4070 Ti in comparison to the 4070 to the 4070 Super...
The better value would be, and is, the RTX 4070 Super...

At the moment, the 4070 Super costs 150$ more in my country than the 4070 while the 7800 XT costs about 40-85$ more than the 4070. So won't the 7800 XT be a better buy since it matches & even beats the 4070 Super in some productivity applications as well as games. Which one do I pick for gaming & video editing at 4K 10bit?

No, the difference between the Super and the Ti is about $190, and you're not getting an additional 15fps, on average, you'll be getting about 5-6 additional fps...the biggest bang for your buck right now is going to be the 4070 Super...

No, the Ti still outpaces the Super, BUT not by much...The cards are identical EXCEPT for CUDA cores, the Super has 7168 while the Ti has 7680, and the 4070 has only 5888...

Those cardsa re made for rayreconstruction and dll3.. not for raw performance... cores are locked... if u do not use dlls3. Fs3 can not compare with dlls.. not same i have amd and nvidia.

Si los soporta y de sobra, pero la persona que hizo el "test" tiene sus configuraciones en rasterizado, no usa dlss lo cual no tiene nada de sentido ya que la arquitectura de Nvidia está hecha para trabajar con inteligencia artificial o mejor conocido como Dlss. Si fueran gráficas de AMD no hay ningún problema, pero lamentablemente no parece conocer como es que funcionan realmente las rtx y por eso dan esos fps justos.
Es como si usarás un deportivo en fango, para eso están los todo terreno.
nothing to do with the 4070 ti, 4080 and even 4090 also dont have it easy on alan wake 2 with frame gen disabled...its an option available but unused to test raw power instead of using the tech for it available...its also why so many youtubers are shitting on some newer cards cause they test and compare older cards with newer gen on raw performance where dlss and frame gen is the real power in current cards but leave that out of the picture
@@thedawn-rt9rx Alan Wake 2 runs well on my 4070Ti at 3440x1440p using DLSS Quality and Frame Gen. Those technologies are good but fuck no are they a replacement for gpu performance, they are objectively inferior to having the same FPS without needing to use them as a crutch.

The RTX 4070 Family, that should have been the RTX 4060 Family.
I bought the 4070 Super primarily because of it's efficiency. I could swap out my 5700xt and put in my 4070 super without changing my 550w psu. Would I like more power? Sure. But I didn't want to add more costs or rebuid my system.

4070Ti is the best RTX 4000 series card. It was RTX destroyer at launch and still is. 12GB VRam is extremely overblown and all that hate merely indicated envy and hypocrisy which is totally out of control on the fucking internet.

4090 isn't worth it. 4070Ti was perfect sweet spot for RTX/DLSS performance. Raw performance isn't important anymore.

I had GTX 1650 before buying RTX4070 and tbh i am used to go to graphic settings and tweak it for best look to perform so no matter what i play ... In alan wake 2 which i am playing rn , with optimzied settings without any DLSS i am getting about 80-100 fps depending on scene. I am playing THE FINALS lately and it was getting 60-80 fps on my old card on low settings but with this one .. with almost epic settings without RT i am getting 180-200 fps with slight bottleneck of cpu. So i think if you have a choice get a RTX 4070 Super and if you have strict budget go for Rtx 4070 it's not a bad card and price is also good mostly.
Remember graphic cards are not bad these games are poorely optimised and broken too

@iramuranium Nah, it's a good card. Unless you want to pay even more for 12gb vram card. 4070 is a good value and there is not that much difference between S version. Both cards will age similar and when both will start to struggle will be carried by DLSS 3 and FG and both will do good. It's a world of tech. Few more months and peole will be sad because they have 4070 ti or S, because something better will be released again. Just enjoy your card unless you want buy a new card every few months because of few more FPS increase.

the 4070 super is very good for 600$, i'ts a cheaper 4070 ti
4070 = $550, 4070 Super = $619, 4070Ti will be $699. so the price gap is similar. You don't earn too much from 4070 Super if you bought 4070 already.
If u find it for 600 bucks sure, but real price now more than 700 bucks
