It's being referred as a fever reducer in this case. If you were prescribed ibuprofen for a broken leg, you should get a different doctor. There are other, better medications to help you with that.

Medicines that have made healthcare simple, and revolutionary. Fighting common colds, infection ect ect. It basically gets rid of any ''minor'' healthcare issues so the doctors can deal with real problems. Oh got none? I guess ANYONE with a cold is going to the hospital now. Still got PLENTY of covid shots to go around.

RSV comes around every year, I work with pediatric patients, it’s not a serious issue. Most parents coming in are just scared and have kids with mild symptoms
Strep Flu RSV is a trifecta of typical swab testing that has existed for at least a decade. None of that is new and don’t let anyone scare you into thinking otherwise. And I’ve never seen anyone older than 5 be tested for RSV. And yes, I actually do the testing.
Really sucks for young children who have more than one of those, though.

I was at the VA a few days ago, they screwed up on the medication I was picking up and any complication causes the VA system to literally fall apart and with everyone left scratching their heads on what to do, so I was there for roughly an hour waiting by the pharmacy pick up window and hearing all too often how meds were in short supply. About 1 in 4 veterans were met with "we are in short supply; we'll give you a few days and mail you the rest" all too readily, I don't believe this is good for anyone.
It's good news for the share-holders of the producers for the vaccine.

Supply issues from lockdowns & Covid protocols
Seems like up until just recently if I went in for something I was always having to tell the doctor to change my prescription from amoxicillin as I have a penicillin allergy. No shortages. I buy the 1000-tablet bottles of Ibuprofen for the household and there were plenty on the shelves until recently as well. Doctor Turd may be correct in that we have had shortages of some medicines from time to time over the decades but I've never seen that for either of those meds. I remember people contaminating them with poisons and shit but outright empty shelf nonsense, no.

Had to go to three stores to find children’s Tylenol when my son had the flu last week.
That's been bad for a while i've seen. Posters/signs at Walmart ect saying short stock only 1 per person. Wonder why kids need all of these drugs so much. Nephews and nieces are getting sick BI weekly if not more, NON STOP. This whole thing has fucked up their immune system.

There are also great home remedies that use ginger, oranges and grapefruit zest.
