Hello Marvin, whenever you use an ATM, always choose the local currency of that country. Like in this video, you clicked US dollars. You should have chosen YEN for a lower conversion rate. This is one of the travel tips from JM Banquicio.
Also, before using your credit card for purchasing, check first if they charge an international fee. Most of the credit cards, they don't charge.

skyliner is not bullet train po hahaha airport transfer train lang sya pa-tokyo. and i suggest doing research in advance sa google maps para hindi ka masyado mahirapan pagdating sa station. if hindi na talaga keri, may information center naman at ok lang magtanong sa locals
although... okay din po ung video na to.. reality check tlaga to sa mga newbie sa Japan... all emotions and struggles is really what you can expect .. ako kasi nag research na kaso nalito pa rin eh ahaha

Pwede kang mag withdraw ng until 70,000¥ sa isang withdrawhan equivalent to 25,750.76PH. Budget tip lang, instead na bumili sa convenience store mas makaka mura ka kung sa supermarket ka bibili. Malaki ang difference. Makaka tipid ka. Maraming nag kalat na supermarket anywhere.

19:45 If in Japan, you always withdraw local currency (yen). Mas mababa yung palitan , di ka lugi ehe. I think kahit sa aling bansa, ganun din advise ng ibang travellers. 😊

if you withdraw money use YEN currency or local currency. you chose USD in this video hahahaha. if pag ganyan kasi, ginagamit ang forex rate ni BDO (your card) unlike if nag yen ka, Forex ni 7 bank ang ginagamit which is much better. around 0.3795 last punta ko.

Wala po ata talagang charge kapag credit card gamit mo sa mga transactions mo unless mag withdraw ka sa ATM kasi May fee yun at the same time May exchange rate fee pa ata Dahil

naka relate ako sa "Dami pogi" unang lapag ko sa Japan last Jan 30 to Feb 8.. at Yung "wait I'm so lost" cguro 100x ko Yan sinabi at nfifigure out ko nmn hahaha..
I stayed at Shinjuku too.. so based sa research ko and less pabalik balik, bus is the best route.. took me 65 mins lang and di na ko naghanap hanap kung sang saang train hahaha..
Sad part though, Nung ki claim ko na Klook voucher walang bus na going Kabukicho so I bought bus going to Shinjuku station, it's fine Kasi na refund naman :)
