My greatest tip to you is yes, you can find more rare pokemon by moving around, but you also generally get uncaught and rarer pokemon as you rise in levels, incense can also help with that. If all you're finding is weedles pidgeys and rattatas I'm gonna guess you're still somewhere around levels 3-8
Alia I know this is late but to find the Pokemon that you hatched from your 2k eggs u have to click the three bars in the bottom right hand corner when u look at ur Pokemon and click recent then it will show u all ur recent Pokemon
