Tight lines. Love it. My social map is missing major detail - Like large islands. I get this is a fishing tool But shouldn't the downloaded map have the same level of detail you see on the website? Btw, I have full detail selected. What am I doing wrong?
my main lake didn't have some massive islands either in there and had small islands done. you just email or flag it for tech support on your map and request they do the outline of the lake for your map. They do it usually pretty quick and when you redownload its there.
Love the videos but I can’t find anything on my c-map discovery. I must be the only one with it
alot of these videos are for the cmap genesis edge online and edge accounts for uploading your sonar logs. The Discovery and Reveal cards are maps your purchasing on SD cards for your units with the mapping already on the SD. Are your not getting the mapping details on the card?
Hi, when downloading from social map it’s in Zip, don’t you need to unZip it before dragging it to the SD?
Also, the Zip includes a folder with a folder in it, and then the actual files.
So unZip or not, and which folder to drag to SD?
yeah a ZIP is the condensed down version of the files. You want to unzip it to get access to the main folder and files within it. My computer does it automatically.
