@@MrSniperfox29 I'm not even a Ralf fan
Damon was 30 seconds up the road lol
@@thomasconway95 To be fair, Ralf had cut the gap from 22 seconds to 10 seconds before the safety car, so he was closing, but we don't know how much Damon was holding back given that he was 2nd/leading. Also note Hill's fastest lap was over 3 seconds faster than Ralfs and he'd been faster all weekend.
I mean, if we use the excuse "duh Ralf was faster, let him by" then what happens if Damon turns up the power and starts going faster, do we swap them back again?
1:10 the moment the Iceman became a legend.
Old radio have so much passion.
Masi to Wolff should be on here. "This is a motor race, we went car racing"
This radio will never not be funny for decades. 😂😂🤣🤣
Kimi's come back 👌
Kimi: "Don't shout! [...]"
Also Kimi: "IT'S TOO FUCKING LATE NOW!" also also Kimi: "FOR WHAT?!"
You might think Seb was a dick, but that was part of the reason why Seb is a four time WDC and Webber had none. Pure ruthlessness.
I WaS reAllY scARed
Sure I can understand 2012/13 being a bad year for webber but the first 3 he was swept under the rug from team orders multiple times. He shouldve won a championship but he got boned like Massa, DC, and Barichello. Webber was on the podium 40 times in 5 years. Maybe not the best driver but he deserved a world championship In my book.
@@1967-l7h I agree he's just another victim of red bull favouring the younger rising star
@@1967-l7h that is the point though. Vettel would say hell to team orders, he wanted to win at all costs. It may not have won him many friends, like it did Webber, but it won him championships.
@@1967-l7h true. Even Rosberg won a championship. Why not Webber?
You can cut out and replace kimis response with a meme and it will still sound normal
Kimi and Alan was 2013. Not 2012.
That's Indian GP 2013 not Korean GP 2012
I need more context behind the Schumacher and Montoya situation
Schumacher understeered into Montoya when Montoya tried to go round Schumacher, despite it either being at best a racing incident or at worst Schumachers fault, they blamed Montoya and gave him a penalty.
@@MrSniperfox29 And then the steward that made that call was fired from F1 for life.
0:57 wait, shouldn't that penalty, then, go to Mickey Schumacher for driving into Pablo Montoya like that?
alonso terrorizing the fields including his teammates
he mainly terrorised his teams
@@ba55bar That's why Renault wanted him back, sure. I guess they were being terrorized so much back then by Alonso that a sort of a Stockholm syndrome developed at the team. 🤦♂️
@@ba55bar Ron Dennis terrorised him non stop so I guess it all evened out
@@lozpopo that's actually hilarious. You realise Alonso tried to blackmail Ron Dennis and that's how Spygate was made public?
@@ba55bar Yeah I do, that doesnt mean Ron Dennis didn't harass him though. He flew into a rage because he ate a piece of fruit in the garage for gods sake.
The message to Kimi was from the Indian GP in 2013.
Massa will always be a champion to me
Excellent driver. Extremely unlucky not to win 2008 World Title. The 2009 incident shook his confidence for good and he was never the same yet he still raced on and had some memorable moments.
Agree
@@spacebound12 hungary 2008 still hurts
@@spacebound12He was actually driving incredibly in that bad Ferrari in 09 until that accident. He was caning Kimi
Juan should never have gotten that penalty. Which was the very first drive through penalty ever in f1
You can hear how noisy the engines were. I miss the sounds.
Having a go at Fisichella and berating him for being 2 seconds slower isn’t how you get a driver to concentrate and get into a rhythm
if you feel useless think that someone has to engineer kimi
Wow. That 1st clip. Wonder how the driver felt :(
The Kimi one was 2013 Indian GP not 2012 Korea
Kimi, get out the fucking way... Hahahaha... 🤣🤣🤣
Kimi just killed it
Whooooooa there...nobody tells Kimi shit-leave him alone, he knows what to do.
I think that Kimi message is from India
yes its india 2013
Malaysia 2013, Rosberg being told to hold position and not challenge Hamilton for 3rd, could have made list as well... No high drama, but still.
Gotta love Kimi. He wants the drink as some damn respect from his race engineers. Who can foeget his classic though:
"Leave me alone I know what I'm doing"
I think Multi 21 had the exact opposite of a demoralising effect on Seb!
1:14 bwoah
Not sure Kimi cared too much lol.
Eddie Jordan should have ordered Damon to let Ralf by. He's faster ... let him past, easy. But Damon essentially said "I will not let him by and rather risk a crash so order him to not race me ... cause I'm a pussy"
Eddie Jordan had just watched Michael Schumacher plough into the back of Coulthard, who was trying to let him through. He probably hadn't forgotten about Ralf taking out his team mate while fighting for position in the 1997 Argentine GP either. The upside of pleasing a few youtube commenters two decades later probably didn't weight too heavily against those facts.
@@Catcrumbs Crashing while fighting under normal conditions, crashing while letting a driver "by" that is on a rival team and letting someone by that's on your team while having team-comms is totally the same. lol
@@CinematicHypeTV Eddie had also just watched Fisichella run into the back of Nakano, all while having team-comms, so stop pretending that it was so easy to swap positions in those conditions. There was ZERO reason to do so, and anyone who claims they would have done so is either an idiot or a liar.
Damon didnt say that lmfao did u even watch that race. Spa 98 was literally demolition derby, its not that Damon wanted to crash into him, its just that even letting him by was extremel yrisky under these conditions. it was absolutely pointless to have them race specially when Alesi was on their tail
@@CinematicHypeTV why would Jordan have their drivers fight under these treacherous conditions when a free 1-2 was in their hands, which was also their maiden win
jesus christ u people really need to understand that F1 is a team sport lol
Kimi's radio was from India not Korea...also it was 2013 not 2012
That 98 jordan 🤤
The team radio quality wasn’t that clear back in the day. Discussing small issue with the driver sounds like a huge argument lmfao.
Kimi's one is from India 2013, not Korea 2012
Fisichella won a race before Australia GP but the team doesnt seem to like him
They'd picked Alonso to be their number 1
3:18 how are you supposed to focus on racing as well as focusing on interpreting what they say
That was Damon on the radio to his team.
@@Undivided-X Ik but still that level of radio audio quality
@@americanpride9733 yeah car-to-pit radios are generally worse than pit-to-car and back in the 90s I'm sure the technology wasn't as developed, but if you're a race engineer who speak and listens to the British accent regularly and you're used to listening to radio messages like this you won't have many problems.

Raikkonen one was India 2013
Lmao kimi roasted his manager LMAO
Is the sound quality for the drivers also as bad as for us to listen to?
Not really, we hear both the engineer and engine while they have their earphones.
However, whenever the drivers turned on their mic, you can just imagine what the V12s did to the engineers' ears.
Apart from technology advancing, we can hear drivers a lot better now because we don't have such loud engines

"They race me so hard" is the worst demoralised driver radio message by far.
Looks like the Jordan team lied to both their drivers during Spa 1998.
How did they lie to them?
