I had to re-upload this video because it was hit with 'Limited adds' and eventually shadow banned. But why Limited adds.? I think it's because UA-cam has placed this channel on alert and is deliberately hitting these videos before it's even done uploading yet. What does Limited adds mean? It means that it will not get the views it would normally get and the video will fall out off UA-cam's algorithm. Most of the time it will get adds back after review, sadly that's not working anymore. So i'm getting demonetized without breaking the UA-cam guidelines. As a result my channel has been slowly dying and I really have no motivation to make any new videos and probably aren't going to anytime soon. Also most of the extra information in the comments, I always implemented is gone, just to not piss off the broken YT Bots even more.
Thank you for your service to the community. This channel has always been amazing, you built a museum of archive footage. YT/Goolge be dammed if they want to tear it down.
The Stug III with the long barrel high velocity 75 mm and side skirts is absolutely stunning along with the Panzer MK4 long barreled 75 with turret and side skirts. Just beautiful clean vehicles.
Dude, your channel is a legitimate important visual historical archive for all generations to learn from and enjoy. Without people like yourself who take the time to obtain, review, organize, and then disseminate this important historical media, making it available to anyone who would not normally have such easy access to it is truly invaluable. Don't let the man get ya down. Thanks for your time and energy in making this content available.
I always enjoy your footage with very good selection of the StuG, perhaps one of the best armored vehicles of the war! Its estimated that the Germans knocked our over to 20,0000 Russians tanks in 1944 alone. Truly one the best accomplished by well trained troops and very good optics!
I wonder if somebody has done research on when the German got more tank kills, before and after they went in defend mode. I bet they did so much less when they were on the attack.
@@davidtorre7370 Ill go with that... I think if they would have focused on 3 designs and modified/upgraded them they would have had alot more AFV 's available at key moments...PANZER III/IV AND TIGER 1..working of course on the tiger 1 reliability and converting all 3 into various Assault guns like STUG III/IV JADGTIGER...they could have expressed their addiction for engineering but hanging with the 3 designs...forget the panther totally because of the 150km final drive debacle plus it wasted man hours and tooling time.
Hi buddy, your stug footage is amazing. This video has given me some ideas for a stug diorama; thank you. Keep them coming as your videos are awesome. Cheers Gary 🇬🇧
Stug was actually a AFv or infantry support but in late war it evolved as a formidable tank hunters just 4:30 to 5:40 how well stug were Comoflage just like army grenadier or vaffen SS troops it was a defence master Having a reputation for 1:7 -1:16 kill/ loss On different fronts
Turretless assault guns are such a good and clean design to accompany infantries. Don't matter if its high velocity anti tank or low velocity fire support.
It's very funny....I always used to find this vehicle ugly as hell... and nowadays I'm simply in love with it. Maybe my girlfriend also had the same... I'm not gonna ask her just in case it's the other way around. This video is another beautiful one. As I remarked on a previous comment I made on your channel, these colorized (or just B&W) images and videos are pure gold when it comes to work on plastic model kits, painting, weathering, damages and war scars simulating, etc, etc. Big thanks for your efforts and your very nice work, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Äh, nö... The largest number of horses used in the Wehrmacht was 650,000 in 1944. In contrast, the Red Army had 3,500,000 horses in use in 1941 and there were no fewer in the course of the war. And the horses were absolutely essential to the functioning of these armed forces. If the Axis troops had spread a deadly horse disease in Russia, the Red Army would have collapsed within three weeks. Why do you folks alwaqys try to bore me to death, with your uneducated half- knowledge...?
I felt sorry for the poor Panzer Grenadiers who had to trot along or behind these tanks for miles on end while fighting the enemy on muddy or snow-covered terrain ! True anonymous heroes.
The UA-cam algorithm restrictions seem fixated on Nazi's, guns, and anything related to weapons at all, including historical information. You can show stuff on Communists all day and anything related to socialism, but don't show anything on the Germans or Nazi's in WWII (and even some WWI videos, including the Friekorps in post WWI Germany). As if the Communists didn't pile up bodies by the millions before, during, and after WWII. Stalin gave Hitler a run for his money on capability in unprovoked aggression against other countries, including atrocities and massacres within his regions of control. Several other videos on WWI and WWII small arms got locked down by UA-cam for displaying usage of firearms. Well, what do they expect from history, that everybody used Nerf guns and bean bags. It wasn't showing blood and gore or glorifying the Nazis, the videos were just showing the live fire demonstrations by various collectors (not even actual wartime footage like this video).
Interestingly enough StuG crews weren't considered proper tankers by "real" tank crews, as StuG units were part of the artillery rather than the cavalry andalso wore regular Heer uniforms instead of Panzer uniforms.

I love the early war footage of the short-barreled 75mm.

The Stugs were just BADASS! Low profile, hard to hit, maneuverable, damn good!
Stunning footage! Perfect sound effects!
Glad you like it
Thank you! Great footage with wonderful sound.
Thank you for the comment.
Has to be one of the most versatile pieces of armour of any nation during WW2.
One of my favorite armored vehicles.
Your videos are invaluable for historical sake, they’re good for morale also. In addition, I find details that I can reference for model building.

Thank you for this great video
The StuG is one of the best tanks the Germans had but it is extremely underrated
Not a tank
Yep it was an amzing AFV...had a better survival rate than some tanks...and was mechanically reliable..unlike the COUGH PANTHER
Germans should have had only Stugs and Panzer IVs on Western front.

Wonderful images, Brave soldiers!!!
Спасибо вам за труды. Всегда очень интересно 👍👍👍
hey man i really appreciate your work💪
Thank you.
The profile of the Stug was so low that it must have been a real PITA to see, and even harder to hit, in broken terrain.
This is a beautiful channel, I just subscribed today and I'm sorry to hear that UA-cam is trying to take down this wonderful channel

Some of this footage I've seen a million times... but not in color. Thank you!
You're welcome.
Lower silhouette, easier to manufacture, one less crew member, bigger gun than it's tank equivalent.
Great video, thanks for sharing 👍👍
As great as all the footage is, the coolest part of these clips is the original audio included. Have always loved your channel, a true treasure trove!
Great video!
Thank you.
Thanks for the video.

2.30 the true panzers of the German army. Millions of horses they used
Леопард тоже настоящий немецкий танк и горит тоже очень хорошо.
I did not know. They probably just burn up because it's so hot in there.

Good MG-34 film.. .. I think you have some StuH's in there... as the first started out of Panz-3 chassis .
Quicker and cheaper to make than the panzer III
Around 9.000 Reichsmark, per unit...

it was a beautiful tank if it could survive.
Quite a few different model stugs there.
