This video is great. My buddy had set up my KZ 16TH RV in my back yard to use use as occasional guest quarters and he opened the awning two years ago and I left it opened. Without watching your video it would be fairly difficult and take some time to figure out how to close it for the impending foretasted tropical storm force winds in the next few days where I live. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you for this video and the one to open it! My husband and I found it to be the ONLY video that shows step by step how to open and close a manual awning!
This was very helpful. I am living in a campground and it started snowing badly. The person who usually puts it yo isn't here so without your help I would be bad off. Thank you so much
I just wanted to say thank you as I have relied on your videos several times in the last 6 years and it's a great service I couldn't do without it thanks, and your instructions are easy to follow.
Thank you 🙏 I had to camp by myself with kids (usually surrounded by family who can help) and couldn't figure out what to do. Your video was super helpful. Saving for the future as well 👍
Thanks man!!! I needed to close one in a pinch and didn't know how! Worked like a charm but found out the hard way I'm too short to do it without a stool 🤣
Omgoodness I was at my camp site and stressing because I couldn't figure it out I found you video for opening and closing, thank you, thank you, and thank you again.
Thank you so much! As a single mother who just bought an older class c RV, I for the life of me could not figure it out because I didn't have a rod and the loop was torn off. 🙏
i looked at the awning for quite sometime yesterday and could not figure it out even with the brochure. after watching this i feel pretty confident to try again today. thank you sir for your straightforward explanation. i can tell you are a military veteran.
Thank you for the simple straight to the point video! My husband went to bed and left the awning out but the winds picked up and I started to panic since I wasn't sure how much wind it could withstand. I was able to put the awning up by myself! I would have never known to hold on to the Tether and boy did I ever have to old on to it! Thanks again !
Thank you, I just subbed to this channel cuz I have most of the accessories you’re teaching about. KZ-RV Sportsmen 16ft toy hauler that I bought used.👍🏼☮️
Good to watch how its done one thing is that when i roll up the awning imove strap to centre and when full rolled up the end of the strap is no where to be seen.Am i doing something wrong?
What if the stops weren’t in the right place to begin with? How do I know exactly where to put them? The awning keeps rolling up crooked and now husband and I are fighting grrrr
When I'm ready to close the travel lock the two bars that are suppose to come together for lock to close won't come together. It's like they're out of alignment or something up top. I had to use extra force in order for it to lock. Any suggestions?
Does anyone know what to do if the strap had a ripped loop where the handle is supposed to latch on to and be able to pull the awning up or down? I didn't know mine was ripped and when I was closing the awning, it just snapped and it suddenly rolled super fast and now its tucked into the rolled up awning. Can it still be opened or am I screwed?
You rock bud. Because of you, I closed the awning of my new RV before the storm arrives.
