Ha! I was just about to purchase a floor matt specific product however now that I've seen your video I'll be using this product as I already have it. Thanks for the great video!!
@@HawaiiDetailing would you say this stuff replaces solution finish? I've never seen it before but I love the idea of being able to use it on mats. And a year isn't as long as solution finish can last but I only tell my customers it lasts a year anyways. Great video I'll have to check out blak!
I've used 303 Aerospace to treat mats and it works pretty well as long as you don't leave too much product on. This suggestion is very interesting and I'm tempted to give it a try. Especially on older vehicles I think the difference would be even more impressive.
I currently use Solution Finish for these types of projects but I am really impressed with all the videos of you using this product. Those Pressol bottles are definitely legit and use several in the house and garage.
So i see this was 1 year ago. Can we get an update? Also what is maintenance cleaning process? Just spray a cleaner, scrub, rinse, dry and it looks like the first time you applied it?
@HawaiiDetailing. How do you keep up with all these bottles you make with their individual dilutions? I have watched many of your videos and after a while I am like 1. Where do you put all of theee bottles and how do you keep up with what is in them all. Don’t get me wrong. I love your videos. Just trying to learn what I need to do to organize all my stuff when I imitate all these things your doing
Sorry took me a while to see this comment. Here in the channel I am always trying new stuff. I do however keep a small group of my favorites on my shelf with my known goto dilutions. I definitely don’t have unknown mixes laying around because I can’t trust what’s in them. Sorry I don’t have a better answer. Thanks for watching
What kind of floor mats would you recommend for a truck, it's not a work truck but definitely the carpet floor mats just get super dirty and take longer to maintain when having to clean them as the dirt industrially sets in deep into the carpet of the floor mats. do you have a suggestion for rubber floor mats for a Toyota tundra? I don't know what kind of brands are great for quality? Thanks for all your great videos!
I could do with some rubber matts, those one's for your TM3 look great as they're like a bucket holding stuff in. I like that, wonder if I can get some to got into a Toyota?
Weather tech makes mats for almost a lot of vehicles. Thats who the manufacturer is. They are branded Tesla but weather tech. Here is an example. amzn.to/3yEEzg4 Thanks for watching
I liked using Adam’s liner cleaner but the problem is that it is NOT powerful enough to get really dirty mats clean. Super Clean IS powerful enough, probably too powerful. Thus, the dilution explained in this video. On top of that, SC is a fraction of the cost, you get more product and it’s highly dilutable. Adam’s DOES rinse away much cleaner but what’s a few wipes to counter that? Just saying. 😬
I’ve liked Stoner’s Trim Shine in the aerosol can. Gets in the nooks and crannies very well. For greyed out mats I turn to Solution Finish to bring back the black. Jeremy, what do you see as the main difference between Solution Finish and what you used?
Solution Finish offers a sacrificial sealant layering product for protecting the natural oils in their foundation product called Over the Top. Keep in mind its recommended @ 2 coats applied 30min. apart and your customer cannot get it wet for 12hrs. after install.
Hey man and or anyone with a suggestion just wondering do you have any experience removing smoke odor?? Bought a cheat Econ car and she reeks like cigarettes driving me crazy!!!
You should put yourself in the thumbnails of the videos because ur a chill guy I remember your face even if I sometimes forget the name of your channel and that way I watch your videos sooner!
@@HawaiiDetailing I am subscribed already! But I would have watched this video about a week sooner had it not been a thumbnail of a floor mat could be from any detailing channel I’m subscribed to LOL just a marketing idea… try a watermark even!
I used it on the faded rails on my truck. It should work good on the bedliner too. Not sure because I have not tested it but I think its worth a try. Thanks for watching
Great stuff!! My question is, although i know its very subjective, what price range should we offer this service for? Before “its better to just buy new mats” than to dye/coat them?
That’s a great question. It’s so easy to put on and does not cost much so I would price it where you make some money for your time but your customer is happy too. Sorry I can’t offer any better advice on your local market. Thanks for watching
Really wouldn't classify Super clean as an "All purpose cleaner". It's a degreaser mainly used for breaking down grease. I use on tires and engine bay only. I use an actual APC for everything else.
Technically, you’re right. Super Clean is a degreaser, not an “APC”. However, considering he’s cleaning a floor mat that sees dirt, oil, grease, etc., it’s the proper chemical to use. He’s already shown us that he uses a gentle cleaner for most of the interior, so he may have just misspoke about SC being an APC. 😊😊😊
Preping and super clean the floor mats. Do not over scrub using hard rough bristles, use a soft scrubber, cleanings the mats 3 times should be thorough enough. Mats completely dry. Apply Blak evenly. Only 1 coat of BLAK is required. If you reside in the Hot Southern U.S. States or southern California, if the inside of your vehicle gets above 90 degrees on a consistent basis ... it just makes a mess of your black rubber floor mats as the longevity and protection will not last at all. High Temperature is the product killer.
Another great recommendation!! Every product I’ve ordered from your recommendations have been stellar! I appreciate your work.
Thanks a lot.

I really like BLAK on tires, for some reason I never thought about using it on mats. Thanks.
Definitely have to test this out for my business. Love the vids, keep up the great work

I just tried it and it works great!
Great to hear!
Acrylic Tire Shine, also works wonders and lasts a very long time

definitely helped to have all those tools, looks brand new

I use trim shine, let it sit for a bit then wipe off any excess. Ends up looking brand new.

Diluted Super clean works great for floor mats and tires /wheel wells 👍 thanks for the tips dude ! I’m going to add this product to my arsenal

I recommend to use adams matts cleaner so sudsy and strong on dirts with manual hand brush 👏🏻

Blak has ceramics in it and therefore has a protective layer. I don't believe Solution Finish has protection in it (but it is pretty durable).
I am not familiar with the solution finish product. Sorry.

Hi the applicator for using dose the product washout what do you throw away the applicator after use ??
Rinse it right away with water. It will be discolored but will work great for more rounds later. Thanks for watching
Hey @Hawaiidetailing, how’s the mats holding up after applying this Blak coating? How long did they stay looking good? Thanks for any update you have!
It does pretty good. Easy to reapply and always come back to like new.
@@HawaiiDetailing thanks for update 🤙🏼
I use a plastic, vinyl, rubber, conditioner, then let dry in sun and let the solar sun bake in the conditioner.

Lov it!
Yeahhh.
Hi sir ! Really like you video and the choice of your product. Is it the only product you trust to give a new look without sleeping on them ?

Thank you.
Dude,
I use CarPro Inner on my matts.
If there are colored logos on the mats will this dye them black?
Yes. Don’t get it on anything that’s not black. There is a clear version if you want it but this is not it.
man ur so fucking happy all the time, love ur channel
Thanks a lot.
Rightious Bucks!!!
That definitely brought back a nice clean new look to the floormats. Not slippery?
No not slippery at all. That’s my favorite part about this coating.

When you maintenance clean them with APC, does the coating get removed? How often do you have to reapply the coating? Thank you!
I plan to look back at this job soon and will fill in those details. Thanks

No
Don’t need rubber mats in Arizona. But if I did. Just a good cleaning looks better than the coated rubber. Just my opinion.

Interesting product my friend and how long do you think that your mats will look like this?
I don’t know. My guess is it will last a while. I will clean them and give you an update in the near future. This stuff is durable for sure.
