That’s probably the most sincere crowd talking I’ve ever seen, the way he got emotional after it and the way he sang the last three words actually touched me the first time I seen this, what a fucking band and what a fucking song ❤❤
This was the only song they didn't do in Edinburgh on the Like Clockwork... tour, and it's in my top 3 Queens songs, so I may have gotten a little misty eyed when I finally got to see it live in Glasgow on the Villains tour.
I just saw them play live the last 2 nights in Brisbane Australia and this song was the absolute highlight for me along with Song for the Dead… both were monsters and laid waste to us…❤️💐
This was 1 of my favorites from this album! Its like you're launched into the middle of a song without hearing how it starts, with such a desperate feeling behind it! Very creative!
I wasn't using ad block on my cell but after taking a fuck ad in the middle of this performance. Fuck it I'll use it until the day i die so i never suffer something like this again. Putting an ad in the middle of a performance like this should be a crime
Love this song, but the sound mix could use some work. Josh and Troy's guitars are too soft for most of it, and Dean is too loud. Jon and Mikey sound just right though.
@@Chasecka I think that’s one of the real unique things about the band. Much like the mighty Zeppelin, They have so many different lanes and that weird ability so satisfy almost every sweet tooth.
@@Chasecka absurd take, this is unquestionably one of the best songs they’ve ever written. From a purely songwriting perspective it’s probably their best. I love the early albums a ton but you underselling this song by a massive margin
I caught this tour in Portland (for some reason they skipped my city, Seattle) and they played this. I was in heaven. The performance was great but the crowd was pretty lame. I'd seen them on the re-release of their first album tour in Seattle. Best crowd I'd ever been a part of.
This feels like one of those songs you have to give up a little piece of yourself to create.
He did. He gave a big part of himself to create the album.
He did. Josh Homme almost died on a surgical table, and fell camatose for several weeks. This song is Josh Hommes expression of that life experience.
I feel like that’s what great music does. Takes something and gives it to everyone else in whatever way it hits them. Damn.

Playing an ad directly in the middle of this solo is a war crime, UA-cam.
Savages
A war crime, indeed. But one that can be avoided with an ad blocker
@@dqniel1755 its harder on cellphone the other pirated apps dont always work
This song kills me. It's incredible.
Killed me the last 2 nights
Yes👍🏻Absolute masterpiece on every level. 🤘🏻
That’s probably the most sincere crowd talking I’ve ever seen, the way he got emotional after it and the way he sang the last three words actually touched me the first time I seen this, what a fucking band and what a fucking song ❤❤
Josh appears missing now...
WOW, that's one hell of a live performance...jeez, few rock acts can kill it like that, live
This was the only song they didn't do in Edinburgh on the Like Clockwork... tour, and it's in my top 3 Queens songs, so I may have gotten a little misty eyed when I finally got to see it live in Glasgow on the Villains tour.
I missed it in Belfast on the same tour. Shame really.....
Honestly this song should be a staple in every QOTSA setlist, it’s truly a masterpiece and possibly the best song Josh/they have written.
I had goosebumps when this one came on.
I'm curious, what's the otherr two songs from the top?
4:30 onwards for your bass listening pleasure
Mike Shuman is simply .. incredible!!!!
Love the bass in this song. Mikey dun good.
The devil thinks Homme is on his side. The devil is wrong. Long Live Homme
I just saw them play live the last 2 nights in Brisbane Australia and this song was the absolute highlight for me along with Song for the Dead… both were monsters and laid waste to us…❤️💐
I saw them in Torquay earlier this year, and I am devastated they didn't play this song! Probably the best show I've ever been to non-the-less
What a masterclass from Troy
Mikey too, his bass in this song is truly glorious, everyone in the band was absolutely on point here
Theyre all on fire here but Troy was truly shining for this performance and it kicked Josh into high gear I love to watch it
This song is the reason that I subscribe to YT premium (however reluctantly it was) as I'm not going to let any fucking ad ruin the song.
Man, that’s extortion. Like paying the mob for “protection.” They’re protecting you from them. Don’t reward UA-cam for being shit munchers.
Google "Revanced". UA-cam premium for free.

My fucking god listen to Mikey! He is such a beast
I was there! One of the best concerts I have ever been to
WOW!!!!
I was there, the concert was not as great as some others Queens concert, but I was really brought to tears on this song
best outro EVER
Undoubtedly
ever EVER
The end of this song makes my heart so happy ❤
The Whammy pedal work here is just on another level, unbelievably musical. Brilliant and beautiful song writing.
Just loving the vocals, Joshua Homme x
Love Josh love this song beautiful 💕
Love the band, love the man!
The bass was extra creamy this time!
So good vibes for all of them. Greatest musical all over.
Love them so much
I love anything Homme
Long live the Queens
Legends, simply legends!
The singer reminds me of Mr incredible
Beauty…
Just epic 🎸
Masterpiece. JFC 😢
WOW, what a show
imagine if the tabs were out from this life performance, shit would be a pleasure learning
Omg 🥺❤️
j'y étais .......inoubliable .
Beautiful song, fuck I love qotsa 🤘🏼
I wasn't using ad block on my cell but after taking a fuck ad in the middle of this performance. Fuck it I'll use it until the day i die so i never suffer something like this again.

Bass got me
Paris loves QOTSA!
какая же это гениальная группа
And my daughter was born
Crowd thanking that meant to say 😂😅
:)
Should upload something from The end of the Road on Halloween
Yikes. No other words, really. Quasimodo
QUNTSArchive more like, putting an ad in the middle of a song... Sacrilege
Love this song, but the sound mix could use some work. Josh and Troy's guitars are too soft for most of it, and Dean is too loud. Jon and Mikey sound just right though.
Only a musical genius could come up with these progressions.
I can't believe it's been 6 FUCKING YEARS since this album came out. Completely changed my life 😭❤
Yeah... They have a habit of doing that :)
Same . I started my own business and took control of at least some big parts of my life after hearing this record.
Make that 9
almost ten
Over a decade today
Among other things, one of the best bass performances that exists, hard to imagine this brilliant song without it.
I’ve never heard Mikey play those octaves during that crazy section at 3:00. Sounds really good
And on the third day he rose again... Yeshua
Jajajajajaajajajaja yeshua , that's a good one
Beautiful song, powerful performance!
Bass nice recording - one of the other live the drums are clearer. But wow the bass really drives this song
Post-brought-back-from-being-dead-for-some-minutes Josh was best Josh, for songwriting at least
This is QOTSA’s Diary of a Madman, The End, Stairway to Heaven, ect.
Their masterpiece!!!
Full agreement !
Nah. It’s a good song but nothing beats rated r and songs for the deaf period. Nothing even comes close to touching it.

@@puppetmaster8551 You do realize it’s all subjective and my opinion correct? This is a good song but it doesn’t compare in my opinion.
My dad died the year you released this album. 2013
Fuck me, 10 years ago this song came out and I related to it so fucking much.... and nothing has changed.
I caught this tour in Portland (for some reason they skipped my city, Seattle) and they played this. I was in heaven.

I got blessings and curses, just like every "zany" American
Such a lovely view. 🤘♥️
I'm such a long time fan.. love this song more than ever right now .. tears
Masters of their craft. There is no better one alive right now!
Bonjour
Please please please play it when you come to Rome!
Yeshua bless y'all
where's this taken from?
Like Clockwork
