As a naval architect who got lost in the terrible expensive stuff I really appreciate the Bolger minimalist approach. (He also designed some very 'voluptuous' boats). Many of his designs are of the 'weird and wonderful' class.
We have been in 4-5 foot constant waves and it is uncomfortable. We chase fair weather and do the best we can to avoid wind and waves. This season, when we don't have the kids aboard we are going to try and get some drone footage in rough water.
Lucky to have such a unique boat to perform these nautical trips. Great hull speed being pushed by modest power while the " dude boaters" have wide heavy boats pushed by 3 or 4 engines abreast on the transom. I've always thought those types of boat were beyond excessive. 😢😂
I love the Bret and Heather sighting
Isn't that wild?
Thank you for the Memories

love it ! until next time,
To cool!
I would like to see the hull bottom. Any pictures of it?
You gotta pay to see that Cody, haha.
If you watch one of the three repair videos we did you can see the bottom and the chines. Best!
Cool boat
How would it handle in poor weather with large waves? Or do you just not go out then?

That's twice youtube recommended this boat to me. Funny I ran into the owner in Seattle.
Hello there! Where did we meet you? Bell Harbor?
@babybluesbyphilbolger It was at Lake Sammamish Boat launch. You invited me to the wooden boat show.
Reminds me of my days on the St Lawerence when I was with 10th Mountain and the 1000 Islands region
Bolger designed some great boats, this one is narrow and cuts nicely but in weather must it be rockin side to side...

Efficiency is way underrated IMO. Thanks for the comment.
That's so cool that you ran into Brett and Heather Weinstein! Hope to see you out on the water next season. Happy boating! - @lil_angie_actual
I don't know the Weinsteins, but love their pocasts. I had to rewind to catch their cameo.
It was absolutely insane. We lost our minds. So cool. See you soon buddy!
Yeah, kinda a quick clip! Thanks for the comment.
Thanks Muffin.
Long and skinny makes for an efficient boat
it could only be a Bolger!
