i wish he was my teacher,to be honest i hate math i am very weak but i understand from him but i dont understand from my sir and he makes math look fun
There are also systems of equations with 3 variables, Mr. Woo. You get 3 equations, and you can solve by elimination by choosing 2 of either equations. It doesn't matter which one.
You'll end up needing to solve a quadratic formula, when you have squared variables. Solve the linear equation for x: x = (11 - 8*y)/3 Substitute it in to the equation with stuff squared: ((11 - 8*y)/3 - 4*y)^2 = 11 Expand: 400*y^2 - 440*y + 121 = 99 Move the 99 to the left, so we have zero on the right: 400*y^2 - 440*y + 22 = 0 Apply quadratic formula: y = (440 +/- sqrt(440^2 - 4*400*22))/(2*400) y = 11/20 +/- (3 sqrt(11))/20
Take the first equation, and substitute it in to the second equation: 2*(3 - 5*x)² - x²= 1 + 3*x*(3 - 5*x) Expand and gather to the left hand side: 64*x^2 - 69*x + 17 = 0 Use the quadratic formula: (69 +/- sqrt(69^2 - 4*17*64)/128 Solutions: x = 69/128 - sqrt(409)/128 x = 69/128 + sqrt(409)/128
“He was still having breakfast”
Mood.
Yes mood

Same for my teacher. 😂😂 I seriously need him ❤❤❤
This guy saved my education.
same bro

Where has this been all my life 😂
i now feel so stupid, the solution was very obvious. OMG
i wish it had more teacher like him
Beauty, elegance, PERFECTION
I don't understand the line 7x + 80 - 16x=53, where did he get the 80 and the 16x from? I got so confused after that.
He expanded the brackets by multiplying 8x10=80 and 8x2=16
he expanded the bracket, so essentially he just multiplied 8 x 10=80 and 8 x 2 = 16
5:05 where do u get 6 from can u tell me ive got a exam and need helped on this as fast u can thank u
Since we know that x = 3 if we sub it into equation (1), then 2x (which is 2 times x) would equal 6
@@ettebagu7835 thanxxx my friend
multiple 3 with 2
u must be in like grade 4-7 i guess, ngl thats really easy to solve
LMAO preach, I've got exam block next week
thanks king my hsc exam is tomorrow
Yo what? I’m doing this in year 9
Bruh I'm doing it in year 4 .__.
Broo if anyone were to cough that much in 2020 ppl would be like:😷🏃🏾♀️💨🧼🏃🏾♀️💨🤸🏾♀️🤸🏾♀️🪑
perfect teacher..
how did you get x = 3 from -9x = -27 ?
Step 1) Divide each side by -9 to leave x on its own.
Therefore x=-27/-9
Step 2) -27 divided by -9 = 3
Therefore x=3
Bring - 9 to other side which will give you x = -9/-27 which is x = 3 (since the numerator and denomenator is negative thay cancle)
My teacher told me that we have to substitute x in the second equation after finding the value of x.
it doesnt matter which equation you sub x into, its up to you, they chose the first one
Great Video :) Helped me for sure!
I love Wootube, and Woo's Wonderful World of Maths.
How do I solve dis sir (x-4y)2 =11 and 3x+8y=11 but 2 is squared
You'll end up needing to solve a quadratic formula, when you have squared variables.
Solve the linear equation for x:
x = (11 - 8*y)/3
Substitute it in to the equation with stuff squared:
((11 - 8*y)/3 - 4*y)^2 = 11
Expand:
400*y^2 - 440*y + 121 = 99
Move the 99 to the left, so we have zero on the right:
400*y^2 - 440*y + 22 = 0
Apply quadratic formula:
y = (440 +/- sqrt(440^2 - 4*400*22))/(2*400)
y = 11/20 +/- (3 sqrt(11))/20
EXCELLENT TEACHER !!!!! & PATIENT !!! ..... SOME VERY RUDE STUDENTS ..AT FIRST.
Thank you man helped me
is this foundation plzz tell me
Shoutout to the twins
Epic eddie woo clutch
Thank you.👍
helped heaps cheers
I wish I had him as my math teacher
i love you
this channel will never not be useful
why is everyone coughing in the class
Reiner hehehe
Plesse help me with these
y=3-5x
2y²-x²=1+3xy
{TH}Tran PS gay
Take the first equation, and substitute it in to the second equation:
2*(3 - 5*x)² - x²= 1 + 3*x*(3 - 5*x)
Expand and gather to the left hand side:
64*x^2 - 69*x + 17 = 0
Use the quadratic formula:
(69 +/- sqrt(69^2 - 4*17*64)/128
Solutions:
x = 69/128 - sqrt(409)/128
x = 69/128 + sqrt(409)/128
The camera needs to be closer to the whiteboard.
yikes bad vid
to quick
