Man I love how the boy finishes the quest and immediately all the ladies start lining up and fighting over him skdjdks. And all the chaos in the background of the outro, beautiful. It's so fun seeing lost river in your graphics too, this is going to be so awesome!
Possible minor spoilers for the map Yee be warned! I’d just like to point out that there’s a house in Allison Acres that harbored a divorced couple with a house covered in ‘live love laugh’ energy that has a backyard containing a pool and a doghouse. They even gave us the couple’s names in a letter, Ashley and ‘B.’ That house, is the most interesting of all. I’d also like to say that every single little book or magazine or info board has decipherable wording on it, meaning all of those little books have a little bit of lore in them, you can even find a board explaining the origin of Lost River. We may never know, however, where everyone went, but we can sure theorize!
Omg! If there's other dogs we should make a pack with them too! There is cases of wolfs and dogs mating and forming pack of wolf-dogs. There other of coyotes envolved too.
@@stvrfang I know exactly what this game is about, and I don't have to be reminded of it by someone from the internet. Nothing changes the fact, that wolves and dogs create packs together, i haven't said it's a must have feature, but that's something really interesting. That's all.
@@nyve5740 Well, but if you have offspring with a dog, it would change the whole genetics system PLUS wolfdogs look pretty different to wolves. Which means - new coats, new player model, new pup colors, new breeding system - which seems a bit much for a "small" thing like "starting a pack with a dog" I would love that, too. But I think its not a priority of the game. Maybe someday as a DLC, I would love to play as a free-roaming dog. Just for the fun of it
*spoiler alert spoiler alert spoiler alert* Jay, you missed a den by the house at the beginning. It’s a very interesting den and one you wouldn’t expect because it’s a type of den the team said we WOULDN’T get. I won’t give away what the den is but I’ll say that you missed a really cool den.
I played this map a bit before watching this video and I have to say I was instantly thinking of possible lore again that could exist in lost river. Great video :D!
i actually played as a runt from my og oc, midnight.. with her mate, dustytail. Their were a few pups, 5. but one stood out to me alot, their name was sunshine. I was excited to play as it when it got older, and even thought about what could happen. but, at the end, they got sick in the rendezvous site. i was scared i was to loose her, but i prayed before we slept and at 3health, my pup survived.. and thats why sunshine is still my favorite today; (she also has puppies, and a semi runt.)
It’s almost intimidating, considering how massive it is. It’s gonna take everyone a while to figure out how to navigate it properly. This map is 8x8 kilometers, as compared to the 7x7 SC and AM maps. This also means it’s like 15 times bigger than the old map. An upgrade, if you will.
Not for me lol, I find it aesthetically pleasing. When I first played the map it was very easy for me to navigate, it ain't that hard lol It's just a little bigger than most maps, but other than that it's just like any typical map.
@@kookycoconut Eh, is it kinda weird that I find the creepy music kinda soothing? Cause I actually find the subtle weariness of Lost river dlc very calming and fascinating.
I have a question. Am I able to buy the DLC on the official WolfQuest page? Because that's where I brought the game, I can only find it on Steam but it's telling me that I need to rebuy the game even though I already have it.
I used one of my wolves named Gold Rush to play this for the first time, she's black with like specks of gold. She has one of the sweetest relationships with her LR Mate omg. In Amethyst Mountain she has this mate named Basil, he's cool I guess but he's not the best at his job. Very lazy. But like this new guy? He's a whole tsundere I tell you. I love him a lot I named him Cryo because he's such a pale Grey he's basically white. He's super dedicated too, practically throws himself into fights and hunts. They have 4 kids now and like 😭 they're all so pretty.
You will have depending on what gender of your roof is the opposite wolves will Chase Adore opposite wolves for your affection and so there will be less competition to win you over
I think it should be in the middle of the map somewhere, that’s where I found it. It may be closer to the town than the cattle ranch. Can’t remember that well, but hope it helps! :)
When I first saw the Grant's Glen sign I was like "no way. No way did they actually add dogs" imagine my surprise 😰😰
18:37 The way the dogs bolt away instead of fighting is so amazing- I remember the ranch and when they where hostile
They’re were dogs in 2.7? More than just the barking sound?
And I wonder if there are cats,? There were I. 2.7
@@MysticFoxWildlifeArt there where cats in the old version but only in the city map and you can only see it over a statue

Yes! There are an absolute ton of tiny lore hints hidden around the map-- it's so cool!
Omg! If there's other dogs we should make a pack with them too! There is cases of wolfs and dogs mating and forming pack of wolf-dogs. There other of coyotes envolved too.
That would be nice. Lost river is fictional, so i don't see a problem with wolf-dog packs, plus as you said - it's a real thing.
@@stvrfang But i'm sure many people would like to have that option in game, who knows what will happen after full saga will be released.

Crow has the same name as the wolf I’m playing in Lost River except mine had the u-black Coat. Great video!
omg thats so cool that other dispersal males/females can court wolves aswell!i have seen dispersals fight over impressing my wolves but never this
