Massively underprepared, I Have tackled the 3 peaks challenge.
Ben Nevis , Scafell Pike and Snowdon aiming to finish in 24 hours.
it was brutal, bad weather and wrong time of year didn't help matters.

Huge Respect here Bruce. I have done all three, but over a period of about seven years, and it was over 40 years ago, nearer fifty. So by comparison that means you are stone mental. You had no real preconditioning period.
Last time I did Snowdon did it in under an hour. Went up on the train just for a nostalgic peak from the top . You did damn well . If I'd been there I would have put the zimmer in 4xwheel drive and given you a piggy back. I reckon we'd have knocked the lot off in ...well ... let's say by April'22. (with a following wind mind you ) .
Eddie and Mike said it all about ending up left doing a solo job... So I'll just shushhh.
In that context you bloody nailed it .

I'd have left you aswell, tbf you would have known where I was by the cackling. Fair play to you mate bit of a mission that, got to say that for a team that works in the industry to leave you behind is pretty sh1tty
I asked them to go on without me, we weren't doing anyone favors staying as a group, I needed to stop and take a break, hydrate to stop the cramps, it was time they could not spare.
I wish i had a bit more time to come up with a gameplan, rather than making it up on the fly... Mistakes were made

@@WildGingerBruce go at the slowest man's pace is basic tho, never leave a man behind. Could have been lost and injured alone on Nevis in the pitch black. Not good IMHO. Well done for getting it done dude

Shame u couldn't see anything up Nevis but glad u got a good view up Snowdon
You could do it, you just need to keep moving no matter how slow, but yeah on your own is a whole other can of worms.

Well done Bruce, that certainly looked challenging under those conditions, you did well mate.
Its a shame someone from the group couldn't have stayed with you, to give you a moral boost and for safty reasons!, so basically a solo attempt on your part. Well done mate.
Thanks Mike, it was definitely much harder on my own, tbh was on a bus with them for 2 days and still don't know their names, So I'm happy it went how it did

well brucey baby, ben nevis....firstly...what a bunch of james hunts for leaving you behind, thats how people get hurt or dead, especially in that weather, slightly different on a nice sunny day, but even so....i know you told them to go politely not wanting to hold them back,,,,but even that was stoopid ya ginger plum haha, your legs could have given out anytime, you should know better old fruit,,,,a squad only moves as fast as the slowest man...or ginger...i know this as i got short fat hairy legs and he only time i was ever in front on a march or run was when they put me in front and they had to keep down to my pace, the rest of the time i was always running like a nutter as they just seemed to effortlessly jog on.. but on a positive note, thanks for bringing us along, the scenery was wonderful, ive never seen such beautiful fog n drizzle, and to know that im not the only one whos legs kill after heavy excercise like...walking to the kettle for a cuppa,,,,and well done for not giving up so many would have, me ...id never actually get started hahaha
and when i saw the pork pie my heart broke, ya just cant get them like that where i am in canadialand, it truly is one of the very few things i miss about the uk, i have actually done scafell, and some other lakeland peaks, i fell down a scree slope on the way down,,,,which was fun,,, snowden not even gonna attempt at my age and lack of fitness level but well done and thanks for taking us along, CC

You did the 3 peaks in a pretty good time really considering. I think it took me almost that long to do Snowdon, lol
Thanks Si,, it was filled over a week, using stunt doubles and cheeky editing and professional heavy breathers. If it makes you feel any better about your Snowdon experience 😂😂🤣
Well played. Teamwork ??? Im fairly sure the time stops at the top of snowdon?
Lots of different routes and methods now, a lot say it finishes at the end of the miners track,... But as i say, i was new to nevis and snowdon, so went at the challenge without a plan

Nevis looked like actual dream/nightmare sequence, especially the talking silhouettes. Strenuous exercising with Ibuprofen not recommended.

Yeah i know about the ibuprofen, but not walking on a mountain kills you quicker 😂😂🤣🤣

Bruce, who the hell was with you in this group ? One thing is for sure, they are not well trained ? No one should be left behind mate.... Raging mate, what was going to happen if you fell or got injured mate ? Best i shut me gob mate...... Good effort on your ,part a big FAT FAIL on the other members of this group....
