Cort has a more heavy sound ..and squire as always has it's signature twangy sound., Ultimately depends on the player
My parents bought me that cort g110 for my 10th bday and i still use t to this day

I sold an acoustic yesterday for $35 ... today I bought in a music store an older Cort strat copy for $30 ... sounds so damn good and for $30 who cares .... but this demo seals the deal ... they both sound very good ... can't tell them apart ...good job and damn good playin' bro !!!!

Cort is very good than expected. But ,if I’m looking for stratocaster character and sound, I’ll choose squier.
In my country both the squire and the cort are priced equally. After, listening to this video Cort G110 is going to be my choice. But, actually both are pretty close.

The Cort sounds mellow and the Squire has a little more cruchy sound. I think I prefer the Squire Bullet.

The Cort has more Mids, whereas the Squier sounds scooped. I think this is because the Cort has a Philippine Mahogany Body and therefore sounds better with Drive (more cut), but I prefer the Squier for Cleans.

This was great. I definitely like both of them, but the Squier has more of the classic Strat sound (which is sort of expected). Awesome video :).
Same factory, same machines, same staff. The world desperately needs more budget strat copies....there's just not enough already.

Aside from the sound, which one is the better quality build? In the end, you can make it sound like you want. You can't always get better play-ability. From some reviewers, you have to go above the Squire Affinity series to get a quality build. This has been an agonizing process deciding on the right purchase. It's not about what I want, I already know that. It's about finding something suitable until then.
I own a Cort g215 myself and I tell you...... Its far better than a bullet strat...... Best part is that it has better tuning stability and can achieve warmer tones than the bullet..... But in this segment everything may boil down to personal preferences and testing each one out........

Headstock aside, they're the same guitar. Squier Bullet Strats are manufactured at the Cort factory in Indonesia.
+Tom Lynch Yes, but they sound different and they have different comfortable. This is a different guitar. Ibanez Guitars Premium also make Indonesia the factory CORT .

I like Squier a lot more here...it's got some "Stratocaster-like" brightness and crispness, clarity (as much as its possible for such a low price haha)...while the Cort sounds muddy and kind of dull...just as most of Cort guitars I've heard..
you can actually hear it when Artyom starts playing along the backing track...
Squire is clearly distinguishable in the mix and it conveys all the details of the guitar part pretty clearly, while Cort gets lost among other sounds in the mix...
Squire also has some character in here, its sound is kind of..independent..While Cort sounds like it's trying hard to be a "strat-like" guitar but it just won't make it
I've been playing the guitar for many years and I've seen some guitars (and I also have one Cort guitar, z42, sounds as muddy as a Cort can sound, thanks to the crappy pickups) so for anyone who is sitting on the fence here, trying to decide which guitar to pick - I'd totally go for Squire if I was told "you can only pick a guitar that costs not more than 200$"
It's much easier to make a "bright" guitar sound dull if you want, than trying to make a dull guitar sound bright :)
До 1:46 слушал и мне нравились обе)) У Cort более четкий акцентированный звук, но легкая "сиплость и хрипотца" Squier очень прикольная - есть изюминка на чистом звуке. Во второй половине, лично для меня - Squier просто вчистую проигрывает: не хватает сустейна - звучит очень "дешево". В общем нокаута в этой битве не было, но по очкам побеждает Cort)))

Сравнение одного и того же))) Мой SQUIER BULLET STRAT by Fender (HSS) BLACK сделан в Индонезии на фабрике CORT! (Википедия, оф. сайт и форумы в помощь!) В данном случае отличия в названии и только! Все прочее совпадает до мелочей! Кому то нравится SQUIER за то, что это дочка Фендер (с 1965), кому то Корт - за благозвучное имя))) Дело вкуса! Но не стоит искать различий там, где их нет и быть не может))) А за видео - мерси (+1)! Ведь в нем моя любимица!
Они производятся на одном заводе но по разным чертежам) и звучат по разному, корт чуть плотнее а у скваера больше стекла.
+Yamaha Nikolaev (Guitar Stuff Review) Различные чертежи только для головки грифа))) Незначительные отличия в звуке есть даже у двух одинаковых гитар и могут быть скорректированы последующей обработкой. Сам использую моделирующий комбик Fender Mustang 1 (V.2) - для дома вполне годится. И еще процессор Digitech RP90 (by Harman). Все это меняет звук радикально! Удачи!

не знаю кто как, а я между этими двумя гитарами слышу отчетливую разницу) корт здесь ощутимо мутнее скваера..это то, что многие здесь называют "плотностью")))
В Скваере более размытый звук. Многие сочтут это за недостаток. Но мне кажется - это классно! Это оригинально
По мне Скваер больше "стеклит" и лучше читается. Особенно на клине. Корт звучит глухо,но на драйве более плотно. Возможно у него датчики с бо́льшим выхлопом. Но сам звук не такой чёткий.
Стнглы корта звучат тонко и безжизненно. Скваер однозначно уделывает по сингловому звуку. Владел кортом г254 18 лет. Смотрю в сторону фендеров.

Cort sounds a bit warmer and nicer clean, but the fender has more definition with the crunch sounds. I'd probably pick the fender because of this, however considering that pickups can be changed, I'd go for the better feel.

The Bullet would be my choice due to the fact that the parts are easy to upgrade to sound/feel like an American Strat. Both sound fine.

How is the comfort? I had a Cort G a while ago, while awesome sound, the comfort was a bit odd for me - it felt like the guitar fretboards is somehow shifted to the right side (as opposite SG guitars feels frets shifted to the left side towards the head). I had some issues reaching higher frets, due to my fat belly when seated :D Did you have the same issue?
Wich is better between a Squier California series or this Cort.

If the scale length and pickup position of the neck are the same i assume they would have a same sound as long as they have the dame pickup.l have played both and the cort is better in my opinion.What are yiur thoughs on upgrading the pick up and the tremelo.Would it be worth it?

I was looking at the cort trailblazer package on Ebay, thinking was produced in 2016 but it says produced in south Africa? It has guitar, bag and amp think it's worth £120? Thanks
I just bought a 2003 cort for 50 dollars it was broke but i fixed it and gonna put strings on it tomorrow

I got two guitars bullet strat and a cort g110 but i play heavy genders and take my bullet strat for thrash and death metal.
And my cort leave for rithims more relax hard rock, indie and acoustic covers.

@@thedarkknight2484 Definitely. I own both an Stg003 and Stg004. 003 with sss configuration sounds more Fenderish than a Squier or Mim Fender. Stg004 iş just another story. Humbucker gives out so much gain that you can play all minds of metal including trash with lots of palm mute stuff. It just cuts trough like a Jackson or Esp. And with the coil switch you immediately have an sss config stg003. Great for playing blues and rock stuff. And they both have an incredible playibility. Necks are amazing. Frets so nice. They re both dark wine red in color. The only thing I m missing iş the classic strat headstock shape. However on my 004 I solved that issue by swapping it with a lefty strat headstock neck scavenged from a lefty strat knock off. Now I have an amazing hss 004 with a reverse fender style headstock. Kind of a little Hendrix style and similar to Richie Sambora signature series.😎

Cort sounds better, the squier sounds a tad staticky in the mid range, which i dont like. Probably the same metal frets and pickups.
Negligible difference if using a digitec pedal system, gonna change sound for the better anyway to make up for any defecits.

Affinity Strat's 6 years later are way better than in 2016 , better pickups wood and option of maple fretboard too

Эти гитары одного поля ягоды... Сквайер звучит более прозрачно, а Корт чуть мутнее.Но это при одинаковых настройках усилителя.Наверное, покрутив немного ручки, можно добиться практически одинакового звучания. ИМХО, на страте должны быть только синглы.

Well i'd say strat..but cort is definitely good..it's probably just my preference..coz when you say strat i'd be looking for that distinct, raw sound..the cort basically is better but it kinda lacked the stratiness tone i'd say xD

just today I picked up a G110 with a cort amp for a complete steal ( feels like I really robbed them at the price I paid )
the sound I think is good for what it is and maybe Cort has managed to make a great " beginner " quality guitar that offers great value and still is cheap enough that you didn't waste a lot more if the guitar isn't your thing
