Ive dealt with mote seized ferd brakes than id loke to remember. Its usuall the slide pins that seize and usually I can free them up with a little heat and a lot of patience, then grease them up well.
Ford brakes have be never been stellar. Replaced my dad's Ford 500s rears like 4 times. Heard the same issue on the non brembo s197s. Them and alternators aren't that good.

I got to correct you on this the miata has small brake calipers. Normal sized stuff like the mustang.. Not normal being the miata 😅 I even heard they autox on the non vented rotors cause they try to minimize unsprung weight.
I’m curious because I have a similar issue with the jack I have and my car being too high, is there a jack that doesn’t require sketchy wood to lift something higher because that F-250 doesn’t look lifted.
Trust me ford has fixed the brake issue they can predict the future and I'm a gull on general motors man not a Ford fanboy but shit does happen when you sell an insane amount of vehicles.

I think you can get a bigger jack at Harbour Freight.... For me, I just use my Quick Jacks at home
